Compatibility of Hitch from 2009 Scion xB with 2005 xB

Question:
I am going to buy a used hitch off an 09 scion xb and put it on my 05 scion xb but my question is...Are the 05 scion xb and the 09 scion xb hitch installation the same?

The Curt Class I hitch you've looked at, part # C11487 is a fit for your 2005 xB.
Since the 2005 xB and the 2009 model are from two different generations, the hitch from the 2009 will not fit your 2005 model.
