Compatible with electric trailer brakes on 1 to 4 axles (up to 8 brake assemblies), it keeps braking balanced across your entire setup for smoother stops and less wear all around.
When you tow more than one trailer, resetting your brake settings each time is a pain. With the OneControl app, you can save multiple trailer profiles so your preferred brake output and sensitivity are ready whenever you hook up again. Just swipe to the one you need, connect Bluetooth, and go—perfect for anyone who rotates between different trailers or vehicles.
This plug-and-play install cuts out all splicing. The included custom harness snaps into your factory brake control port under the dash, then plugs straight into the Echo controller. Once paired, LEDs on the unit show status—blue for pairing, green when ready—and built-in safeguards protect against reverse polarity and short circuits. Still 5 stars, lots of trips including a long tow of over 5000 miles. Consistently worked flawlessly. Mild annoyance that they changed the app but once I learned how the new app worked it continues to function flawlessly.

I reached out to Curt about the problems with the new app. They advised that the new app runs the same as the old app it has to run in the foreground unless they are using the button which is the same as the old app. They wanted to know if you were having trouble getting past that screen. Which type of cell phone do you have and which IOS are you using?
