Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the EZ Lube Grease Caps with the Rubber Plugs for a 2.72 inch diameter Hub. This is for a quantity of two caps. Now, these are trailer hub EZ Lube grease caps for the EZ Lube axles. And when I say EZ Lube axles, what those are, those are the axles that have the grease Zerk fitting on the end of the spindle.
And with this cap installed, it allows you to grease your bearings without having to remove the complete hub assembly. Basically, all you have to do is remove this rubber plug, and that'll lets you gain access to that Zerk fitting on the spindle. Put your grease gun on there, pop it full of grease, and you're all ready to go. And then when you're done, remove your grease gun, put your cap right back on, and it's all sealed and protect it. Now, these are designed to fit hubs with the overall diameter of 2.72 inches, which is the measurement here.
And I just wanted to show you that, if we put a caliper on this, you can see if we go inside the inside, it's gonna give you a reading of right at 2.72 inches. That's the diameter of the hub that it'll work on. They are designed to fit the 5200 pound to 7000 pound eight bolt hubs, and they are a drive-in style. You just put those on them and then tap them into place. And this is for a quantity of two caps with the rubber plugs.
But that should do it for the review on the EZ Lube Grease Caps with the Rubber Plugs for the 2.72 inch diameter Hubs.

Still working great....Holding grease with no leaks. The caps I took off were flinging grease all over as I drove down the road. To this point, the trailer is clean with the new ones!
