Moisture, road grime, and salt can eat away at lesser wheels over time. The sturdy steel construction and silver finish on this Dexstar wheel provide excellent protection against rust and corrosion. Not every trailer wheel has to look the same. The directional spoke pattern gives this 13" wheel a sharp, upgraded look that stands out from standard steel styles. It adds a bit of personality without sacrificing the durability or function you count on from a heavy-duty steel rim.
No surprises when it comes to mounting. The wheel uses a common 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern with a 3.19" pilot diameter, 0 offset, and 1/2"-20 wheel bolt size. It’s a straightforward setup that makes replacing or matching existing wheels simple and reliable.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Today we're going to review part number AM20259. This is the Dexstar 13 by 4 1/2 inch Steel Directional Trailer Wheel, with the 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. It's silver in color. This wheel is a nice, sturdy steel construction. Has a nice silver finish that provides superior protection from rust and corrosion, and you can see it is painted front and back of the wheel. It is a directional design wheel, if you see the slots sort of going in a direction.
This is a high quality wheel that meets the Department of Transportation specifications and it is made in the USA. A few specs on this wheel. The dimensions on it, the diameter is 13 inches and the width is 4 1/2 inches. If you go to measure those dimensions, what you're going to measuring is inside to inside, and on the width inside to inside. Basically, when a tire is mounted on this wheel, the beads will seat right here, so that's what you're going to be measuring. Just to give you an idea, I got a tape measure here.
If we go inside to inside, you can see 13 inches for the diameter, and on the width, same way. Inside to inside is 4 1/2 inches, so 13 by 4 1/2 inches. The bolt pattern, as you can see, is a 5 lug. It's a 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Basically, on a wheel that's an odd number of lugs, in this case 5, to measure the bolt patterns, you just pick one of the lug holes and then you'll be measuring from that lug hole to one of the holes right across from it. The trick is, what you want to do, is you're going to measure the starting hole from the center and then the hole you go to to the outer edge, the furthest edge.
In this case, if we're going to measure from this hole to this hole, you can see center to outer edge, 4 1/2 inches. So 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. This does use a wheel lug size of a 1/2 inch by 20. The pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center of the wheel, goes over the hub on your trailer. If we put a ruler on that, you can see it is right 3.19 inches. The weight capacity on this wheel is 1,360 pounds. That should do it for the review on part number AM20259.

The wheel arrived in a well packed box and is everything they said it would be. It's a nice match for the other wheels already on my trailer.
Stamped made in USA, but looks like made elsewhere. Came with dings as though it was just one of thousands in a warehouse. And my made in China stock wheel didn't have grooves or lines in the metal not just a flaw in the paint. But, for the price it IS worth it.

First rim was a swing and a miss, I'm Not sure how a bent rim can be shipped as it was Not a UPS issue the box was Not damaged or the paint on the rim chipped etc. I understand things happen but we are talking a rim here, pretty simple item to check quality before shipping. That begin said They were Awesome in shipping me out a new one right away and sending me a return shipping for the damaged item. I would Definitely purchase from E-Trailer again!!! Thank You!!!

No issues at all. Still good as new!!
The wheels run smooth and stopped the bouncing on my tandem axel boat trailer. The only bad thing about the order is in the picture the wheels look silver, but when I got them they are a dull gray, and they don't match the chrome hubs and lug nuts I ordered. The information videos about getting the correct size wheels helped and I received my order in less than a week.
