Question:
Hi, I have a trailer axle with a tapered spindle measuring 1.25” at the inner bearing and 0.75” at the outer bearing matches LM67048/LM11949, with a 4-on-4” bolt pattern. Do you have a complete hub assembly in this exact combo, or any way to get this bearing spec in a true 4-on-4”? Thanks!

Hi George,
I checked through our idler hub options, and we don't have a complete hub assembly that uses the LM67048 inner bearing, the LM11949 outer bearing, and a true 4x4 bolt pattern. Right now, these are the only two complete hub assemblies we carry with that bearing combination.
The first is the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly, part # DX22XR. It's made for 2,500 lb idler axles and uses a 5x4-1/2 bolt pattern.
The second is the TruRyde Trailer Hub Assembly, part # AH15450ECOMP, which is the one you were looking at. It's an agricultural style hub for 3,000 lb axles and uses a 4x5 bolt pattern. I think your current hub is likely a proprietary or discontinued design because we don't have anything that matches those bearing sizes with a 4x4 pattern.
If you're open to changing the bolt pattern, I'd lean toward the Dexter # DX22XR since it's a more common pattern and replacement wheels are much easier to find. You'd need a new set of wheels with a 5x4-1/2 bolt pattern, such as the Dexstar Steel Directional Trailer Wheel, part # AM20259. That's a 13 inch wheel, so if you can let me know what size wheels you have now, I'd be happy to make sure it's the right fit before you order.
Out of curiosity, are these hubs on an agricultural trailer or an older trailer?
