What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this replacement coupler kit for our Ram gooseneck coupler, so you're gonna get the coupler, the handle, the spring, and what you need to weld it to the actual coupler. Let's check it out. The nice thing about this Ram gooseneck coupler is all the replacement parts. So, if you accidentally backed into something, somewhat damaged the handle or even the coupler, that can be replaced. Now, you're gonna have to cut off the damaged one before you can weld the new one on, and then you're gonna have to paint that as well but it's still better than buying a whole new assembly.
So, looking at the parts I have here on the cart, these aren't gonna be painted. This is how you get 'em. They look a little rough at first, but like I said, once you weld them, then you can paint 'em on. We have the coupler assembly itself right here. It's gonna go right where this one would be.
Let's say if it was damaged, you got the catch for the handle built in, and the 2 and 5/16 inch cutout for the ball on the gooseneck. You're gonna wanna make sure you put the bolt on the right side of the coupler when you go to set it up 'cause that's gonna be the opposite of the handle side. The handle set up is gonna be the next part of this kit that you can replace. Just like before, you'll have to remove the old one before you can weld the new one on and then you'll want to paint it. But you get everything you need to replace a broken handle, so you get the handle itself, the spring, these points that you're gonna weld onto to keep the handle in place and keep the spring in place.
There's another one of these attachment points that goes on the bottom, so you weld both those on to keep everything there. And then, the front part that is the catch for the handle goes with it. Overall, I really like that you can get replacements parts for your Ram gooseneck coupler. It's much easier to replace the parts than buy a whole new setup and attach it to your trailer. So, whether it's the coupler that's damaged, you can replace that.
And if you don't need the handle yet, it could be damaged down the road and you have it and you're ready to go. I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. I hope this helps.

I purchased this for my gooseneck last year. Shortly after installing it I took a 1580 mile trip to Kentucky and back with 4 side by sides loaded on my trailer. Since then I have moved many things and used my trailer with no issues at all. The parts work great and I am completely satisfied

we installed an aluminum flat bed on one of our trucks the smaller access to the goosneck ball required we convert our trailer from a slide in coupler to a drop on coupler. The kit welded on with minimal modification and works great.

The product looks like what I ordered. I'm confident it will work fine for many years. It is amazing that it got here with all the parts. The part was heavy and may have been handled roughly. The box was completely open and battered to the point of failure. Better packaging is definitely required.
