How To Select Replacement Wheels For Trailer
Published 10/27/2016 >
Question:
I have a 2007 trail star trailer it has a 13inch wheel and nice bigger tires. I am just wanting to replace the wheels with something a little nicer. What would you recommend and do you know what the lug pattern would be?

Since Trailstar manufactured so many different size and style trailers it would be difficult to tell you what size wheel you need as a replacement.
I have attached a helpful article you can check out that explains how to determine the wheel bolt pattern you have on your trailer so you can make sure you choose a wheel that works with the hubs on your trailer. The 13-inch wheels we offer have bolt patterns of 4 on 4, 4 on 9.44, and 5 on 4-1/2 inches.
Once you have determined the bolt pattern of the wheel you can find the wheel that fits your trailer or let me know what you need and I will be glad to recommend wheels that will work for you.
I also attached a link to the product page for the wheels and another link to our wheel/tire combos we offer you may want to take a look at.
I do recommend radial tires if you use your trailer for normal highway and roads. If you are using the trailer for any off-road travel I recommend using bias-ply tires. A radial tire will flex a bit more than bias tires and run cooler. A bias-ply tire has a stiffer sidewall that is great for off-road and farming.
