When you’re towing long distances or hauling in hot conditions, this tire is built for it. The Kenda Loadstar ST185/80D13 bias tire carries a Load Range D rating with an 8-ply construction and handles up to 1,710 lbs at 65 psi. It’s speed rated M for 81 mph and exceeds DOT requirements, giving you confidence mile after mile on the highway.
This isn’t a light-duty tire. The bias ply design uses nylon cords set at a 30- to 45-degree angle in crisscrossing layers, creating stiff sidewalls that hold up under heavy loads and flex evenly across rough ground. The advanced rubber compound helps extend tread life and reduce rolling resistance, keeping the ride smooth while resisting heat buildup.
The ST185/80D13 size fits 13" x 4-1/2", 13" x 5", and 13" x 5-1/2" wheels, measures 7.2" wide, and stands 24.4" tall when mounted and inflated. That footprint gives you solid stability with flatter tread contact for consistent handling and braking performance without wandering or sway.
Every Loadstar ST185/80D13 bias tire comes backed by a 5-year limited warranty and a 1-year worry-free guarantee that replaces the tire if it’s damaged within the first year. It’s confidence you can count on before you even hit the road.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

After having these tires for a year, I must say I am pleased. They are wearing well, hold air great, and offer a good ride.

I have made several long distance and a few shorter trips with these tires over the past year. The roads vary from Interstate Highways to country backroads. The tires have performed flawlessly under a wide variety of weather conditions. I am completely satisfied. And as I predicted this wasnt my last purchase from etrailer. Thanks for great products and great service.

Only took one trip on them last summer. One tire went flatlow sitting over the winter. We have kept it aired up during the spring, not sure if this is due to the tire or how they were installed on the trailer. never had that happen on the original tires in 6 years. So a little worried about what might happen on the one trip we plan to take this summer. any advice?

The tires are perfect. They mounted just fine and ride just fine. Still holding air and haven’t added any in a year. We don’t pull it much these days, but I am confident I have a solid tire.

I ordered my tires on a weekday and poof they appeared within a day or two. Awesome customer service. I ordered 2 replacement tires and shortly thereafter I sold my popup to my brother who drove it from North Carolina down to the Keys where he lives - he has made multiple trips throughout Florida and has not had any problems at all with the tires and wanted to make sure he knew where I purchased them when it time to replace. Will definitely be a repeat customer. These people do an awesome job!

I have put many miles on these tires, including many back roads and trails, and have had no problems with the tires. They show very little wear for the amount of miles and abuse they have had. Would I buy them again? In a heartbeat!!!

These tires are shipped flat and should take a normal shape once the tires are inflated.

I was not all that impressed with this tire, I do see a radial offering available now and would recommend it over the bias ply.

Great ... I sold my pontoon boat recently but the tires exceeded my expectations. I now go to Etrailer for tire recommendation and technical advise. I recently bought a spare tire and rim for my new Venture trailer from Etrailer. Thanks, PW
