The Rambler ST185/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire is made for steady highway use and long trips with a maximum load of 1,480 lbs at 50 psi. It carries a Load Range C rating and an M speed rating of 81 mph, so it holds up under pressure mile after mile. This radial special trailer (ST) tire meets DOT specifications and exceeds FMVSS standards for dependable performance at real driving speeds.
When you’re hauling heavy loads or logging long distances, strong internal construction matters. This tire uses double steel belts and double polyester cords to extend tread life and resist road wear. A nylon tread-firming belt overlay helps prevent tread separation, giving you the kind of reliability that holds up season after season.
Radial construction keeps rolling resistance low and heat buildup in check, especially at higher speeds. The cords run at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel, helping the tire flex evenly without the internal rubbing that can shorten life. It’s a design built for stable tracking, less heat, and more miles of smooth towing on the highway.
You don’t have to guess when it’s time for a replacement. Tread bars built into the Rambler radial make it easy to see tread wear at a glance. That quick visual check helps keep your trailer rolling safely and saves time during routine inspections.

With a 6-ply rating and fitment for 13" diameter rims, this tire is sized right for dependable load handling without excess weight. The sturdy sidewalls are designed specifically for trailer use, giving you the strength to manage heavy cargo while maintaining solid control on the road.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here from etrailer. And today, I'm at NATM. And this convention brings a lot of the vendors that we have at etrailer to a convention where we have their booths and their products set up. I had a chance to catch up with quite a few of 'em, so let's take a look at their products a little bit up close and ask some of the questions to those vendors about their products. I'm here with Bill from Taskmaster. Bill, what is Taskmaster Taskmaster is a tire and wheel company.
It was founded in 1985 by Tom Walker. We put trailer tires and wheels into the OE market as well as in the aftermarket. Trailer tires, you know, obviously, trailer's been around for a while. Where did it start and where is it now Some of the first trailers built, most of 'em had used tires on 'em. And as the trailers got bigger and more sophisticated, so did the tires.
From used tires to bias ply tires to some of the state-of-the-art, you know, radials that are put on them today. And so you guys have a few different lines of tires to cover a few different things. So let's take a look at those and break 'em down. Okay, great. So this is our Rambler trailer tire.
This tire is your do-it-all tire. Comes with eight, 32nds of tread. It's a very durable tire. It's made for every one. This is our entry-level tire, but this will do all the same things that any of our tires will do.
So you see you got a side-by-side loaded up, utility trailer, perfect application for it. Bill Yeah, we designed this tire to be used by everyone. Makes sense. This is our Strider trailer tire or our middle tire in our lineup. This tire is designed for just a little bit heavier of an application, big campers, big boats. This tire, it does come with 10, 32nds of tread. This tire is made to haul a heavier load. Brad Makes sense. So if you're loaded up with an RV or a toy hauler or something along those lines, this would be something they'd look at Yeah, with the 10, 32nds of tread versus the eight, 32nds of tread on the Rambler, it's made to just be put in a more using application where it is used more often. Fair, so would this fall into a category too if someone had maybe a light-duty work trailer that they use every day, would this be a good application You could, yep. This tire absolutely could be used every day. Okay. Now, where's the Provider fall in the line The Provider tire is our best-in-class tire. This tire's backed with 20 years of performance. If you're using your trailer every day, if you've got extreme demands on your trailer, this is the tire for you. It was built with the highest level of end user demand in mind. Makes sense, so this is, obviously, having a picture of heavy equipment on here. So this is gonna be high loads, you know, anything heavy equipment, but also you're beating up your trailer, you're using it hard. Yeah, that's right. This is as good as it gets in the trailer tire world. If you're gonna put your trailer under extreme stress and high demand, this is the tire you wanna use. So you guys offer not only tires but also assemblies with the wheel already pre-installed, correct That's right, we can sell tires, we can sell wheels, and we can sell assemblies as you see here. All of our stuff is mounted on match-mounting equipment, state-of-the-art equipment that matches the tire and the wheel together. If you'll see the two points on the tire right there, that's how automotive tires are mounted. So on your personal vehicle, you see that type of thing. We're the only ones in the trailer market that will mount an assembly like that and have the capabilities of doing that. And that's nice too because, you know, say you're just replacing one tire and, you know, instead of having to take that wheel off, take it to a shop to get mounted and balanced, you can just get the assembly. Take a few lug nuts off, pop it back, and you're ready to go. That's right. It can be as easy as that. That's nice. So having those options regardless if you have tires that are worn out or you want whole new assemblies to be able to replace all of 'em, Taskmaster has a whole wide range of tires that you can pick from. Huge thanks to Bill for taking the time to break those tires down for us and thanks for watching. Thanks.

Great tire!
Great product, good price and quick shipment. Etrailer is my go to for anything with my trailer and towing
Tires arrived in a timely matter and as expected.
Good price, fast shipping. What's not to like?
Excellent tire. I wound buy another one
Not much tread
The perfect match to what came from the factory on the trailer. It took a while to get it in stock, but time was on my side for this one.
Great customer service and communications from E-Trailer. Thanks all!
Excellent. Fast, reliable and professi onal!
These tires are absolutely mint and there going to be holding 500 gallon of water I used to have a 6 ply lol so these should be just great can’t wait to get weight in the trailer and drive it around
Was the perfect fit for my pop up trailer. Took them on a long drive and so far no problems. Smooth ride.
Everything looks great. I think the tires may be a bit large for my application. I’m assuming these tires will fit on the rims I purchased but if not, how do I go about sending them back and getting a refund.
Nice tire.
I only had about 400 miles on these tires when I picked up a piece of road debris. I went ahead and ordered a new tire and had the other patched for future use as a spare. So far (other than the puncture) I love these tires much better than the OEM 6 ply set. I have a 34' Travel Trailer that weighs 6,900lb when dry.
Delivery was on time as planned and placing the order was simple
I bought tires and they
came in the mail. Awesome job guy.
I selected this tire to replace old the 5.30-12 bias ply tires that were on my small utility trailer that I converted to haul Kayaks. I felt the radial option was preferable in terms of load and speed range of 81 mph compared to the bias ply limitation of 65 mph.
With these tires I feel more confident hitting the road for our next river trip. I’ll try to provide an update once I have some miles on these tires.
Nice upgraded tire. Excellent quality.
It will be better load rating for my little aluminum boat, I’ll have it installed tomorrow, will will be awesome. Thanks ya all.
I needed an affordable yet quality spare tire for our car hauling trailer. I am impressed with the ratings and quality of this tire. The price was very competitive, too. My full order was eligible for free shipping, a big bonus.
we shall see once i place a load in my trailer
Great tires, great price, fast delivery, excellent website, wide selection. Nothing but Excellent feedback from me. Living in the country, you help us cope.
Good tires, fast shipping
Very good communication from the start. Clear pricing, stock status, delivery time, and invoicing. Arrived in 2 days well packaged (in a box, not crushed by banding). Mounted them an hour later no issues. Hope these tires serve me as well as the service was from Etrailer
So far so good. Put them on my 2004 C19 Trail Cruiser back in August of 2025. I Have had no problems holding air or riding rough. Overall, I am content. Only allowed me to upload one photo. Sorry, the others were them on the actual camper.
