This rack is built to handle serious weight, rated at 1,000 lbs so you can load up lumber, ladders, or full-length pipes without worry. The over-the-cab cantilever adds 32" of extra length and keeps long cargo supported instead of hanging loose off the end. With crossbars measuring 69-1/2" long and set 27-1/4" above the bed rails, there’s room to clear tall gear while keeping everything level. The full-length setup gives you balanced support front to back for secure hauling every time.

You don’t need to drill into your truck to mount this rack. The aluminum U-channel bases and heavy-duty C-clamps hold tight to your bed rails, giving you a solid connection and steady support. Each upright is stabilized by wide bases so the rack stays rigid without extra bracing. When you need to remove it, it comes off easily for a compact storage setup.

Made from 6000-series aluminum, this rack is both lightweight and tough. The internal web structure inside each crossbar adds rigidity without adding bulk, and the dual-stage powder-coat finish protects against corrosion. The e-coat layer seals to the metal for durability, while the clear topcoat guards against scratches and scuffs. It’s built to hold up through wet seasons, jobsite dust, or salt spray without rusting.
The slotted aluminum crossbars make it easy to secure gear exactly how you want it. Four heavy-duty load stops lock in place with a twist of a knob, sliding anywhere along the bar to keep ladders or boards from shifting. Four side cleats mount to the uprights for extra tie-down points, so you can strap awkward or bulky items tight. The built-in airfoil strips on the bars cut down on wind noise, keeping the ride quieter even when the rack’s loaded up.

The built-in toolbox mounting kit lets you attach a crossover-style toolbox without drilling through your bed rails. The clamps include pre-drilled holes and hardware made for this purpose, so you can mount your toolbox right alongside the rack. It’s a clean, solid setup that keeps your gear locked down and your bed space efficient.

This bed extender works as advertised. I would highly recommend it to anyone that has an extended cab pickup with a short bed. This is great for hauling longer items around.
My shipment arrived on time , but the box I ordered was damaged. When I informed customer service , they got me a replacement shipped immediately. Great service.
Best Company to work with, when you need to get things done quick for your service company. These Trac Rac systems work great with my Toyota trucks and have stood the test of time with my fleet. Easy to install, use and durable.
Great rack!
Great customer service
Well designed, well built. Pretty straight forward install. A little taller than expected on the Colorado. The cantilever hardware (nuts and bolts) is different than the rack hardware which; though of no consequence structurally, should probably be addressed by Thule to standardize the install.
In the paperwork please explain that you need to exchange the top bracket and replace with the one needed for the over cab extension
I normally don’t leave reviews but these guys deserve it. My product was shipped 15 minutes after order which was the single fastest purchase to ship item I have ever made anywhere. The item showed up within a week and was as advertised. Good stuff

The rack is durable and doesn’t make noise from wind at speed.
