Light trailers with worn or stiff suspensions can bounce and jar over every bump. This 2-Leaf Slipper Spring smooths that out with flexible steel leaves that absorb road shock and help your axle move independently from the frame. Each spring is rated for 500 lbs, giving a 1,000-lb axle capacity that matches small, lightweight setups. The flex keeps your trailer level and steady, cutting down on jolts that wear out tires and cargo mounts.
Getting the right geometry makes a big difference in how your suspension tracks. This spring measures 24-5/8" from the center of the eye to the end of the radius-style slipper and is 1-3/4" wide. With proper hangers spaced 23-1/8" apart, it installs cleanly without forcing alignment. It restores the axle position that your trailer was built for so your tires stay true and your fenders line up the way they should.
Thin, worn leaves can sag and stretch over time. This one brings your suspension back to spec with sturdy steel construction and 1/4"-thick leaves that resist distortion. The front eye comes with a 9/16"-inner-diameter nylon bushing that fits standard hanger bolts for a snug, quiet mount. The slipper end slides easily into the rear hanger or equalizer, giving a dependable connection without metal-on-metal grinding.
As springs age they can elongate by up to an inch, throwing off alignment and making the trailer pull unevenly. Swapping both sides at the same time keeps the suspension balanced and extends wear life on tires and bearings. The simple bolt-in setup uses standard hangers, so replacement or fabrication jobs stay straightforward while keeping the ride smooth mile after mile.

So the leaf springs fit perfectly, went on easy, and looked great! Solid black, and really did the trick, but it rained the night after I put them on and two days later they're not solid black, they have rust stains all over them.... not too sure how long they will last.
Recieved my Leaf springs in only 3 days and I live in Ohio. Absolutely the BEST customer service. The springs are exactly what I wanted. I will be ordering another set to upgrade my other trailer. I will forward pictures when I have them installed.
Product delivered as promised. Trailer parts (springs, etc.) well made; perfect fit. Happy camper.
Springs work great! super fast shipping! I paid for second day shipping and UPS screwed up and I didn't get it for four days! Not etrailers fault It's just frustrating win you pay for 2nd day shipping and UPS SCREWS IT UP! I'm totally happy etrailer! I have ordered several items from them and will continue to!
Reasonable price, quick delivery, exact replacement for my sagged, rusted together leaf springs on an old trailer I'm putting back on the road. They are made in China. I didn't see that in the description. Perhaps cou try of origin needs to be included.
Excellent spring for any properly rated trailer. I used the spring on my trailer for an inflatable boat. Worked perfectly and fix exactly. Also bought new u-bolts and plates.
Excellent product. The U-bolts fit the slipper springs nicely and were easy to install. I ended up not using the mounting plates as the plates welded to the existing axle matched the U-bolts.
Replacement springsMy husband purchased an old rusty boat trailer to work on for a winter project. He began taking it apart and found out a section of each spring was rusted and broken. We didn't know if we could find replacement springs for such an old trailer. I went on line and one of the first results was etrailer.com. I immediately found exactly what I was looking for at a very reasonable price. The real surprise was when the order was delivered to our door less than 24 hrs. later! We now have the website bookmarked for future projects!
Wife of busy retiree.
Repairing a small boat trailer and needed new springs and tires. I found these here and at good prices. Hopefully I won't have to do any more work on the trailer but if I do I will be looking here for parts.

I'm building a light duty trailer for hauling a inflatable boat (100lbs) and outboard (100lbs). These light duty springs will be just about perfect for what I need. It was hard to find light duty trailer springs, seems like most online sites they all started at 2000LBs''
Works on my 14’ Jon boat trailer. Wish I would’ve went with a little stiffer/ stronger springs but these work great too!
OK, my bad ordering the first 2-leaf spring for my trailer and not realizing it wasn't for the set for both sides.
After calling back a second spring was there in 48 hours and that was with ups ground.
Awesome service, great part, the way it should be done.

This was a hard to find spring from a HARBOR FREIGHT Chinese Trailer. IT WAS A LITTLE LONG BUT SHOULD WORK FINE. Was shipped fast and at a better rate than quoted. these guys are good. thanks for the service, Dale
Replaced the leafs on my mini trailer to 1k lbs springs. Rides so much better now, etrailer was a no hassle buy. Good prices, shipping and tracking. Thank you
Product arrived exactly as described, was about a week late (due to circumstances that were out of etrailer's control) I checked with etrailer and they responded quickly and kept me updated on the shipment of my order the rest of the way. I appreciate the great customer service and will be shopping with them again!
Product was exactly as described, clean, new, and worked for our repair.
The packaging was a little deformed (weak box) by the time it got to me, but still intact and no damage to product.
Repurposed pop-up camper trailer used to haul kayaks. 2K springs that were on it were too stiff and too short (popping out of slipper keeper). These 1K, slightly longer springs were perfect!
works fine . I put these springs on a trailer I built to tow my motorcycle behind the car. The bike weighs 750lbs and the springs are rated at 1,000 per . with 14in tires it tows very well . great price and fast delivery... thanks
They have everything you need for a boat trailer. Product comes in one or two days. Packaging is great. I recommend this Company to anyone that needs parts for their trailer.

Great
These are a perfect fit for my old PWC trailer. They were easy to install and we’re delivered earlier than expected. eTrailer customer service is the best. I’ll never buy trailer parts from any other online retailer.

Have had these on the PWC trailer for about a year now. The springs are still firm and have shown no signs of rusting. The trailer is towing better too. Dollar for dollar this was the best upgrade Ive made to the trailer. Not at all disappointed at all by this purchase!
Ordered new leaf springs for my trailer. Great website to locate what I needed. Order filled and on its way in less than 24 hrs. Delivery was ahead of schedule and product was just as advertised. Great customer service with an email at each step informing me of progress of my order. Great site and great company.

I’ve put a lot of miles on my trailer since replacing the springs. Not a single problem and the ones I got are better than the factory supplies ones that came with the trailer. Still very happy with my purchase!
Great Company Easy to order helpful. Installation was quick and easy
Perfect for my bbq pits. On my 3rd one and my 3rd pair of springs.
The Slipper spring on a Calkins Trailer (23 yrs old) disintegrated and It took a while to find the replacement because Calkins in now defunct. The E trailer parts arrived in a few days . Everything went well except that the U bolt treads were too short so I had to jury-rig the second plate underneath so that the clamps tightened round the Axle and it is working fine. The first photos show Pre and Post the third photo shows that the axle itself is also corroded and though still strong, I reinforced it with Carbon fiber.
