Question:

One of my leaf springs broke. Can you tell me the replacement parts I would need to replace the leaf springs on both sides, replace axle and hubs, and change from 8 to 12 inch tires w/wheels. I would also like to upgrade the winch stand and winch to a bit heavier duty version of what came on the 48810. Can you please assist me with this.

I can help you out with some of those upgrades, but not all of them as we don't have all of the parts to do what you're wanting to do.

To replace the leaf springs, upgrade the tires, and replace the winch stand (if that's the case) and winch on your CE Smith Multi Sport Boat and Kayak Trailer w/ Bunks # CE48810 you'll need the following:

- 2-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Radius End for 1,000-lb Trailer Axles # e36SR (2 of these)
- Loadstar 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel # AM30670 (2 of these)
- CE Smith Winch Stand # CE31013G (same as what you currently have)
- 2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch with 20' Strap # 315-W2000D (upgrade)

The leaf springs are exact replacements so installing them will be pretty straightforward. The tires are going to be about 2" closer to your fenders so you might need to get creative to ensure the tires aren't rubbing on the fenders and wearing out prematurely.

There aren't any upgrades to the winch stand which is why I referenced the exact replacement, and then the winch is a 2-speed winch with a 2,000 lb boat rating so it'll be more than enough for your needs.

We don't have a replacement for the axle so if that's something you're needing then I recommend reaching out to your local trailer shop for that specific part.
