AJ What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator lights. Now you can put these on a bunch of different accessories we've got them installed on our cargo carrier here today. It's a four-pole that plugs in. And then now you have lights that match your taillights on your cargo carrier or bike rack.
Let's check it out. Take a closer look at them. You see the LED lights here. There's LEDs up on the top layer, and then there's going to be a bottom layer of those. Those are going to come on when we activate our taillights or our hazards.
So we're gonna run through the functions real quick right now we're gonna hit the brake lights first. You see how it lights up a little bit brighter that way, matching the brake lights on your vehicle. Then we can hit the hazards. You don't see that bottom one light up too. You see right there, it's lighting up.
That's going to be the flashing function of it. It's right here as well. It's going to attach via a four pole. So we have our vehicle wiring here, plugged in. And you're gonna get 71 inches of cords.
That's going to be more than enough. You see me kind of bumbled ours up here beside is just for demonstration purposes, but you should have plenty of cord. And if you have access, you can roll that up and tie that off right there like that. Now we've run it down. Our cargo carrier, it's got two points to hook up. It's going to be labeled left and right. And they're even color coded. So we have the blue and the yellow. So of course plugged the yellow and the yellow and the blue into the blue. And it's that easy. We come back out here, we've got both of our lights, like I said, that mark left and right now routing the wire's up to you. We you just kind of used some things just to set up as a demonstration today, you probably want to use more zip ties for more permanent on the backside of the lights. There's also some adhesive double-sided tape. You can peel off and that's what we use to stick it. Now we use electrical tape cause we didn't want to rip off that seal on that tape today. We have them on our cargo carrier today. This is going to apply to bike racks as well. There's a lot of people online and say they don't like that their bikes are covering up their taillights and even a cargo carrier, you can stack your gear up and cover up those lights as well. Now I know that this car care has reflectors on there too, but this is going to work in tandem with your brake lights and your blinkers. So this is going to have that functionality. These are going to be way brighter, pop. That way you're gonna have less to worry about people are going to see when you're stopping or where you're turning because it's on the back of your car carrier or your bike rack the LEDs and the housing are going to be weatherproof So you won't have to worry about the elements, getting to them or damaging them. You're also going to get 24 diodes on the inside. So that's what's going to keep it nice and bright. When setting them up and putting them where you want on your cargo carrier or bike rack I would recommend also getting some wire loom from us just to keep things nice and neat on the other side and protect that wire, Make sure it's not going to be issues with cutting. It's just going to protect it for longer. Overall. I think it's going to be a very helpful thing to have on your car carrier or your bike rack, just because if you're already stacking up full of stuff or you have those bikes loaded people can't see your taillights. I'd be a little worried about that. I want people to know when I'm stopping. So there's no issues. This is going to prevent that. That does it. Thanks for hanging out. And I hope this out..
The Curt Auxillary LED Lights work great on my DraftMaster (recumbent trike) carrier. This light kit has a long lead cable which is prefect for this hitch carrier.
Great addition to our bike rack ! We can now drive at night knowing that our bikes and bike rack are more noticeable. We also added fluorescent tape to the sides of our rack for even greater safety. As always, thank you e-trailer for providing great products!
Installs easy, but would have appreciated some basic install instruction. No instructions at all in or on the package. Installed them on my hitch mounted bike rack. Product works as advertised should greatly improve visibility when bikes block my taillights.
Easy to install. Turn signal is really hard to see when using running lights or brake lights. Display could be a little bigger.
Easy to connect. Fitting it to a Kuat bike carrier was an exercise in finding a good place to attach it using the adhesive and some zip ties as well as Velcro strips. Seems to work well, but planning a long drive and will see how it holds up with time.
We received the order in good shape and quickly. Im hopeful the light will make our bike rack noticeable and more easily noticed on the highway.
Loved these lights for a large Tray style Bike rack. LED's not too bright, but are visible in daylight hours. Gives me confidence that people can actually see the rack now. When your carrying $10000.00 worth of bikes, $30-40 is a no-brainer. Very easy to install as well.

After a year, product still looks and works great. Several have asked where I got these. I should start custom building mounts for bike racks
Super easy to install and use. I routed through my bike rack, so the wires are somewhat protected.

A quick and easy install on my Thule rack. I carry two e-bikes and am glad to have unblocked lights on the rack.

the light system works great. we use the light on the bike carrier on the rear of our rv.
The lights are bright. They are small and light weight. The wired connection at the end of the light is so much more functional than at any other location on the light. Would recommend this product to my friends.

These lights work perfectly on my hitch bike rack.They are high viz for sure. Now I am confident that my signal lights are seen.
The lights fit perfectly as well as the hitch. Hitch was exceptionally easy to install and everything that was needed was provided. As far as parts went. Looking forward to seeing how everything works when it is put to use. Thanks to everyone at etrailer.com. We have received 2 orders and I will be reviewing the other in a day or 2. I haven’t gotten to install it yet.

Very well. Much of the driving is at highway speeds 120 KPH the product stays affixed perfectly, works perfectly and I was actually complimented by a Highway Patrol Officer who said he could clearly see its operation. Still a 5 Star rating!
Easy to install on my bike carrier for additional lighting.

Works great. This is the 2nd set I have got. The first one lasted for about 4 years. I had it on my bike rack. The end where the wires go into the light get fragile and break off. For the price you can’t beat them.
Shipping was great, as it took only a few days to arrive. The installation is very straightforward, and the lights work great! If you have a hitch mounted bike or motorcycle carrier, this is something to consider.
Works perfectly. Installed on a crossbar that I can put on my bike rack when needed. Improves visibility remarkebly.

Perfect. I feel much more confident that cars following me can see my stop and turn lights since I installed a crossbar with these lights on the back of my hitch mounted bike rack.
Love the lights. I installed them on my bike carrier because I was worried that the bikes would block my brake lights from the cars behind me. I just taped them to the rack in case I want to use them on a cargo rack. Very nice lights. I’m going to buy another pair.
Used this on the car rack for my mobility scooter. EXCELLENT PRODUCT! No problems installing it.
When I attached my bike rack loaded with two bikes to the truck you couldn’t see my brake lights or turn signals. These were just what I needed and were easy to install.
The installation was easy and straight forward. The adhesive on the lights seems like it will hold up well, but only time will tell.The lights seem very durable from breakage. I would buy again,I'm happy with my purchase
