Today we're going to be taking a look at part number RN-910026. These are the safety pins for the Road Master Eagle 8000 Tow Bar. The safety pins are going to hold the tow bar in the stowed position. If we take a measurement of the overall pin length, measuring from the top of the head to the end of the pin, it's going to give us a measurement of about two and one quarter of an inch. From the bottom of the head to the end of the pin, we're looking right at two inches and with the clip portion on the pin, we're going to have a usable pin length from the bottom of the head to that clip of about an inch and a half. This part number is going to include two safety pins. It's going to give us a diameter of five sixteenths of an inch and if we take a measurement from the top of the pin to this area right here, simply measuring that opening, that's going to give us a measurement of about one and eleven sixteenths of an inch.
That's going to do it for our look at part number RN-910026, these are the safety pins for the Road Master Eagle 8000 Tow Bar.

Replace the safety pins on your Roadmaster Falcon or Eagle 8000 tow bar.Strong, sturdy hardware designed for the critical job of maintaining the tow bar connection between the towed (toad) vehicle attached to the tow vehicle. I am confident that these Safety Pins will do the job. I plan to keep some extras on hand in case I misplace one.
They are the same as the originals...except shinier. They seem to get along with all of the other hitch parts and don't complain much. Their training and work ethic seem to be the same as the older, veteran pins. I don't think they realize that they might be left on a bumper and dumped upon a lonely road like their predessor.

They don't fit! I need a 2 1/2" long pin for the safety on the telescoping arms on my eagle 8000. These are only 2". I informed etrailer of this and they contacted RoadMaster. RM stated 2 1/4" is the proper size. Well, that won't work and it is not what they sell. I requested a return authorization and was told it would cost me 93% of the purchase price to return. Both RM and Etrailer really dropped the ball on this one.
Exactly what I needed for my misplaced safety pins for my tow bar. Will use these and keep old ones for spares. Hard to find but etrailer had them! (910026 safety pin w/clasp)
Hi it took a long time to get them but I appreciated etrailer communicating with me calling and letting me know they were on back order. They work great and now I also have a spare. You guys rock and I will recommend you to friends!

These are just what I needed after I inadvertantly left one at a camp site. Now I'll have a spare next time.
The price here was better than any where else I looked.
