Question:

I have a Kuat hitch rack for bicycles but when the bikes are mounted my license plate and tail lights are somewhat obscured. Do you have a light kit I could plug into my 4-pin tow harness and mount it to the aluminum rack?

As there is not a specific light kit that is custom fit for a Kuat Bike Rack like # BA22B, I recommend using the Curt Auxiliary Lights # C53201. This LED light is very small and lightweight so that you will be able to easily attach it to the rack with double sided tape and/or Cable Ties # DW05727-10. You can also use the cables ties to route the 4-way wiring along the rack to prevent it from dragging or getting caught up in the bikes as you are loading and unloading your bikes.

Hi Bud, Great article. Kody Technologies makes a custom light for the Kuat NV and the Kuat Sherpa. They're heavy duty, super bright, cleanly integrated into the rack and super easy to install. Check them out. Thanks, John
