Can the Kuat led light kit for the Piston Pro Ion bike rack be installed on the regular Piston Pro rack?

Hi Craig!

We do have a potential option for you, but the Light Kit for Kuat Piston ION E-Bike Platform 2-Bike Rack # KU29SR will only fit the Piston Pro ION and Piston Pro X, unfortunately.

With that said, check out the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201. These can be installed on basically anything and is typically the kit we recommend when there isn't a custom fit light kit available. The adhesive used to mount these is also very durable and I can honestly say I have never heard anyone say it has lost its stickiness and fallen off. The price is pretty hard to beat as well.

Looks like a great option, and much cheaper. I am ordering it now. Thank! My rack will be on a 2025 Trax and 2023 Pacifica, each with a Curt wiring harness for trailer lights from etrailer of course. Will be hauling a fat bike in winter and two adult mountain bikes in summer.

@Craig Nice! Glad I could help! Are you up in the mountains? Typically hear people only having fat bikes these days because they look cool. Sounds like you are actually using them for their intended purpose since you also have mountain bikes for the summer riding.
