This electric A-frame jack takes the work out of raising and lowering your trailer. The 12-volt motor powers a ball screw drive that moves smoothly and quickly, even under load. With a 4,500-lb lift capacity, it handles heavy tongue weights with ease so you can hitch or unhitch without strain. The built-in clutch protects the gears and motor from damage if you ever overextend or retract too far.
You get plenty of range for leveling and coupling thanks to 18" of screw travel plus a 5" drop leg for extra adjustability. The round, zinc-plated steel footplate keeps things steady while you park or store your trailer. The easy bolt-on design makes installation straightforward using the standard 3" on-center hole pattern.
Built-in LED lights on both sides of the housing put a bright beam right where you need it—on the coupler and jack foot—so you can set up or break camp after dark. The top-mounted toggle switches are easy to reach, even when the weather isn’t cooperating.
The heavy-duty steel construction is powder coated to resist rust, while the vacuum-formed plastic housing shields the motor from moisture and debris. The black cover is painted to resist fading in the sun, and the included bull’s-eye bubble level on top helps you fine-tune your setup at every stop.
If battery power runs low or fails altogether, you can still raise or lower the jack using the included emergency crank. A small clutch release at the motor lets you manually operate it so you’re never stuck at camp or in storage.

Was ready to move our trailer to winter storage and found out that the electric jack was frozen up. Would not even hand crank. Needed a new jack fast. New trailer jack from eTrailer came in only two days in spite of snow storm. Easy to install so we are back in business.
Installation was simple, and operation is much better than the unit it replaced.
Sent an open package we should have refused!! It turned out to be defective. Took my time to install for nothing!!! Thank God Stromberg is sending a replacement. Leaves a bad tast to ever order from etrailer again. They dumped a unit on us that should have been tested first!
The machine is great. The auto up and down make life easy I had trouble with my first one I bought. One of the wires on the controller was loose. It was promptly replaced and the other one has given me no trouble at all.
The new SC jack shipped quickly. Easy to install on my 20 ft. power tilt car carrier because I was only replacing a cheap electric jack from [online vendor] that had just failed rather than a new install.
I did have to turn the star washers over because the pointy side has to scratch through the paint to make a good ground contact but everything else was easy-peasy. You can tell that this new jack is a much more quality product. Works great/ much quieter than the old power jack. Thanks etrailer!!
Installed the trailer jack this weekend, the install was very easy and took about and hour to complete. All equipment needed to install was supplied and a few hand tools. We will be taking the trailer out in a few weeks to see how it handles its first trip.
This jack did not work right out of the box. It would retract but would not extend. Not only that, but when I tried to use the manual jack handle the unit would not work either. I had to use a bottle jack to get the trailer off my truck. etrailer was extremely helpful and helped me choose a different unit. They promptly sent to me the return shipping label for this defective unit.
Replaced the old worn out jack on my camper with this guy. It bolted right in and is so much quieter. My tailgate did hit this when first installed but I disassembled the cover and rotated the motor/head assembly 180degrees. This makes one LED point the wrong way but worth it to open the tailgate. Be warned though, I needed an extra set of hands to get it all back together.

Has been a great upgrade to my camper. Works amazing for even lifting the camper and the rear of the truck when putting on my stabilizer/sway bars. Thing is an OX!
The jack was delivered promptly. I opened the box and visually inspected the jack. It looks sturdy and there was no visable damage. It was placed back in the box and sealed. I underwent surgery for cancer the same week. A couple of months later I underwent open heart surgery for a heart valve replacement. We elected not to install the jack on our trailer at this time. The trailer is parked and covered not far from the road, and a new shiny jack might attract attention and get stolen. The trailer is sitting on a block with the old broken jack which may discourage theft as someone would have to bring a big sturdy jack to lift it to hitch it. At some point in my recovery the trailer will be a priority, the jack will be installed and the trailer moved up to the house for some TLC and hopefully many miles of travel.

Very nice unit so far and simple installation. Since this is on an enclosed utility trailer that I work from on site, I am disappointed that I cannot completely open the tailgate as it rests on the jack's motor housing. I thought about rotating the jack but would have to drill new mounting holes and am not sure if the performance of the jack would be compromised as a result.

You mentioned that you wanted to rotate the jack and would need to drill new mounting holes. As long as you are drilling new holes into the trailer frame and not the jack there should not be any reason that the jack would not work for you.
Thank you etrailer people for your fine service. I can not really rate this jack until I use it for at least a few months. But I can say that this electric jack works great just out of the box and it came with all the proper hardware for a good installation.

Well a year later and all is well. We treat our jacks well and completely cover them in a plastic bag.The switches can be operated with the bag on.
Old jack quit working whan I arrived to my campsite. Etrailer got this out to me quick and it worked perfect.
Box came with everything needed (minus tools). Quick installation and so far, loving the results (will update if there are any issues).

The jack arrived in the time stated and was delivered in excellent condition. I had a small problem with the install, the tube of the jack fit through the hole on the top hole but the bottom hole was slightly smaller. It would have been nice to see a Video on how to enlarge the bottom . After talking with friends we came up with a way to use a hole saw and a piece of wood to guide the hole saw. Make sure that the hole saw is for use on metal. Once the hole was enlarged the rest of the insulation went with no problems.
Truly an upgrade from the lippert that came with the trailer. Much faster too.
This was a great replacement for our 4 year old Keystone Springdale trailer jack that bit the dust. Installation was easy and is much faster and quieter than our RAM jack that came with the trailer. I did sand down the paint on the contact points to make sure of a good ground then painted over what was exposed. I liked it so much I'll be looking at getting one for my large utility trailer.

Still working great after a year of use
Have not got all the way installed, but seams like a strong jack and little slow bur I'll take slow and strong vs fast and weak

I haven’t had a ton of time to use the tongue jack yet, but after installing it and testing it out, it works perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. This jack is so much better than the FIC 3500 that came in my travel trailer. The factory jack started acting stupid last year but got me through the season. First trip of this year, it wanted to act up again. It got me to camp and back home but I decided to replace it. My research lead me to the Stromberg Carlson 4500. My trailer has a heavy tongue weight and I always thought the FIC was struggling, and it was loud. The Stromberg Carlson 4500 is surprisingly quite and lifts my camper so much better, it doesn't struggle. I can highly recommend this jack.
Very nice addition, sure beats the hand crank, especially with a car on the trailer :-).
