I bought an older home built trailer that needed spindles and I was not sure which ones I needed. I called etrailer and Brittany was able to figure out what I needed with the limited amount of information that I was able to provide. These spindle were the correct ones and fit without any issues. The spindles are solid and very well built.

by:

the product is great which is why purchased it to rebuild my axles on my gooseneck car hauler. I was greatly disappointed in the shipping which turned out to be more of a poorly planned joke. First product was back ordered and I was never informed of the 1 month lead time it took. I only got emails pushing the shipping date back one week at a time. I finally reached out and was Informed they were waiting for the manufacture to build the product. When I finally got the 4 spindles the box was absolutely destroyed. Spindles were loosely put in box allowing 40 lbs of metal to roll freely which tore the box to pieces. Now I have spindles that are missing 3 out of 4 castle nuts and washers. Two of the four spindles have dents and small imperfections from them bouncing around on each other. Packaging needs to be seriously looked at

  • Replacement Straight Axle Spindles For the Lippert Axle On a 2019 K-Z Sportsmen Classic 180TH
I have an option that may work out for you as we do not have any axles that will have the same hub face dimensions as your Lippert axle in your 2019 K-Z Sportsmen Classic 180TH. You can have your drop spindle that is currently welded on your Lippert axle cut off and replace it with a #42 E-Z Lube Spindle w/ Flange # TRU37FR straight spindle. This spindle has the same dimensions as your current Lippert axle so you will still be able to use your current hubs and brakes. You can get the...

  • Length Measurements for EZ Lube Spindle 2.25
I went out to the warehouse to take some measurements of trailer spindle # TRU37FR for you. The stub is actually 3-3/8 inches from the end to the brake flange. It is 3 inches from the end to where the weld is for the brake flange. The brake flange itself is a hair under 1/4 inches thick. The distance from the flange to the tip of the grease fitting is 7-1/2 inches. But to the end of the threaded part it is 7-1/4 inches. The overall length from tip to tip is approximately 11-1/8 inches....

  • Hub And Bearing Replacement For A 5,200 LBS. Mobile Home Axle
I do have a hub and bearing assembly that will allow you to replace the hubs on your mobile home axle however, mobile home axles are intended for a one time single use only, therefore there is a limitation to readily available replacement parts. When changing the hubs and bearing on a mobile home axle it is important to note the condition of the spindle. A discoloration or nicks/scarring on the spindle are a good sign of needing a replacement. Installing new parts on a damaged spindle...

  • Trailer Hub & Spindle For 7,000 lb Axle With 12 Inch Electric Brakes
First, thanks for all that detailed information, it was very helpful. And we can get you parts for your trailer, though the issue is that there isn't an available hub for your spindle due to what you mentioned - the uncommon 501349 bearing, which is for older agricultural spindles. There also isn't a 7,000 lb-rated hub with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern to go with your 7k-rated Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Assembly # 23-464 and # 23-465. So what that means is you'll have to...

Yes, the 12" Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes - Parking Brake Ready # 23-112-113 and the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly 6 on 5-1/2 # 8-201-9UC3-EZ are an excellent combination for your TetonX trailer. Unless your spindles are in bad shape I'd leave them alone. Usually when spindles look like they need to be replaced it's because some major damage has happened and a lot of times the whole axle being replaced isn't uncommon. Should you decide to have a spindle (or a few of them) on hand...

  • Will The Dexter K23-532-533-00 Brakes Fit A #42 Spindle?
Hello Pat, thanks for reaching out. The # K23-532-533-00 brakes you mentioned are for an 8K Hayes/AL-KO axle with a 4-bolt brake flange. The # 42 spindles like part # TRU37FR are 7K rated and have a 5-bolt brake flange, so these parts would not be compatible. I was not able to find any reference for the 8-187 hub you mentioned. What parts are you looking for exactly? If you are needing brakes for a # 42 spindle, those would be part # AKEBRK-7-SA. Leave a reply below and let me know...

You can replace the spindle of your axle but you would need to know the axle capacity to pick out the correct one. For a 3,500 lb axle the correct spindle would be the part # TRU74FR or if you have a 5.2k to 7k axle you'd want the part # TRU37FR.

I have found this is the spindle some have found but you will need to determine it is what you have and if not you will need to have a pair of the spindles welded onto your axle. This will then allow you to install the Electric Brakes # AKEBRK-7-SA along with the 2 of the 6 on 5-1/2" Drum/Hubs # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K. • How Will The Spindle Need To Be Removed On a 7,000LB Torsion Axle?
The Spindle # TRU37FR is going to be welded in place on your torsion axle. It will most likely need to be cut off and torched out due to the way your axle is clocked near the mounting bracket. Before you attempt to replace the spindle be sure to check the condition of the rubber inserts inside the axle as you may need to consider replacing the entire axle if there is to much free play on your axle. As we do not carry replacement torsion axles you might consider a Timbren Axle-Less system...

There are usually only a few small difference between a 5,200 lb and a 7,000 lb trailer axle but not every two are the same even with the same capacity as different manufacturers make them to different specs. The actual axle thickness can play a role in capacity as well as the brakes/hubs. The #42 E-Z Lube Spindle part # TRU37FR can work with either so long as the inner diameter is 2-1/4".
