Question:
Will this fit a 42 spindle? Mine uses the same bearings, but Im not sure about the spacing. I have hub 8-187. Do you offer a replacement?

Hello Pat, thanks for reaching out. The # K23-532-533-00 brakes you mentioned are for an 8K Hayes/AL-KO axle with a 4-bolt brake flange.
The # 42 spindles like part # TRU37FR are 7K rated and have a 5-bolt brake flange, so these parts would not be compatible.
I was not able to find any reference for the 8-187 hub you mentioned. What parts are you looking for exactly? If you are needing brakes for a # 42 spindle, those would be part # AKEBRK-7-SA.
Leave a reply below and let me know if you need anything else.

They are Old dexter hubs/drums. According to my dexter rep, older than his 25 years @ Dexter. I do have a # 42 spindle, but have the old 4 bolt flange, and Dexter says they are a 8k hub. I'm thinking the 8-218-9 hub will be what I'm going to use and looking into what backing disc and dust shield will work with them. Thanks again. Pat
