Features to know about

Get Moving Again Fast: Complete Hub Assembly for 3,000-lb Axles

When a hub goes out, you don’t want to waste time chasing down parts. This TruRyde Trailer Hub Assembly comes complete with everything you need to make the swap—inner bearing (LM67048), outer bearing (LM11949), both races installed, grease seal, grease cap, and four 1/2"-20 wheel bolts. It’s built for 3,000-lb agricultural axles and has a 1,500-lb weight capacity per hub, so once it’s installed, you’re back to steady rolling without a long parts list.

Keep It Simple in the Shop: Pre-Installed Races and Matching Bearings

Getting races set perfectly can be one of the trickiest parts of a hub job. This hub saves that hassle because both the LM67010 (inner) and LM11910 (outer) races come factory-installed. The bearings drop right in—no hammering or special tools needed. The precision fit of the LM67048 (1.250" ID) and LM11949 (0.750" ID) bearings keeps things smooth and tight on the spindle.

Fit for the Odd Combo: Works with .75" and 1.25" Bearing Diameters

If your spindle takes a .75" outer and 1.25" inner bearing, you know how rare that setup can be. This hub is designed exactly for that combination. The included grease seal—1.50" inner diameter by 2.332" outer diameter—matches those spindle dimensions perfectly. It’s a solid fit that keeps older or less common axles in service without having to rebuild or replace them.

Built Tough for Field Duty: Agricultural Design with 4 on 5" Bolt Pattern

This idler hub is made for agricultural use where reliability and ease of service matter most. The 4 on 5" bolt pattern and 6-1/2" hub diameter give it strong support under load while staying compact enough for smaller implements or trailers. With a pilot hole diameter of 3.62", it mounts securely and stays centered for consistent performance in low-speed, off-road use up to 20 mph.

Ready When You Are: Simple Specs, Straightforward Fitment

The TruRyde AH15450ECOMP pairs with spindle #AS1500E for a clean fit on 3,000-lb axles. Every spec is dialed in for dependable service—1,500-lb capacity per hub, 4" overall depth, and all matching bearing and seal components already included. It’s a straightforward solution when you want a proper mechanical fit without guesswork or modification.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

  • Replacement Grease Seal For a Trailer Hub Using LM11949 Outer Bearing and LM67048 Inner Bearing
If you can send me the diameter of the spindle where the grease seal sits and the diameter of the hub where the seal is pressed onto I can verify if we have the correct seal. Currently I do see we carry 2 hubs which use the Inner Bearing # LM67048 and Outer Bearing # LM11949. First is the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,500-lb Axles # DX22XR which uses the Seal # 168233. This seal has an inner diameter of 1.688" and outer diameter of 2.332". The other hub is an Agricultural Hub...

  • Replacement Hub for a 3/4 Inch Diameter Straight Spindle
The only hub we have that is associated with a 3/4 inch spindle is # AH15450ECOMP. This is an agricultural hub that takes inner bearing # LM67048 and outer bearing # LM11949. But the spindle it fits on is not straight, it is tapered, # TRU54FR. If this is a kit trailer then in order to replace the hubs, wheels, and tires you are going to have to replace the axle. I have included a link to the right to the straight axles and the axle-less systems that we have. The axle-less systems may...

  • Replacement Trailer Hub for Flat Bed Trailer with 1.25 Inner and 0.75 Outer Bearings
It sounds like your trailer uses agricultural hubs # AH15450ECOMP. This hub has the same 1.25 and 0.75 inner and outer bearings which are parts # LM67048 and # LM11949. Make sure your seals have an outer diameter of 2.332 inches and inner diameter of 1.50 inches. If this matches then part # AH15450ECOMP is the hub you need.

  • Replacing Hubs and Wheels on 1964 Alpine Sprite Camper Trailer
Older classic trailers like your '64 Alpine Sprite may need new hubs in order to use the wheels and tires you wish for that vintage look. The only 4-bolt trailer hub/wheel bolt pattern we offer is the 4-on-4-inch format, like hub # AKIHUB-440-2-1K and wheel/tire # AM3S120. We do offer one agricultural hub in a 4-on-5-inch format, part # AH15450ECOMP, but this is for 3000-lb axles, much more than your trailer weighs. To use new hubs with the easy-to-find 5-on-4-1/2-inch bolt pattern you...

  • How to Measure for a Replacement Hub
Hey Jeff! You can email that picture to me directly if you would like. However, in order to find a replacement I would need to know what size bearings it uses and your lug pattern. There should be part numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings. If you can't read the numbers on them, then you can measure the spindle at points C and D to get the inner diameter so that we can verify the correct fit. You'll need to use a digital caliper like item # PTW80157 to get the most accurate measurement...

  • Determining Capacity of an Old Trailer Axle with No Information on the Axle
The 15123 bearing is still common but I could not find any information on the 09057 bearing. But given that your hubs have the 4 bolt pattern it is likely that the axle is rated under 3,000 pounds. Most likely it is a 2,000 pound axle. Measure the spindle where the 09057 bearing rides using calipers such as # PTW80157 I can see if there is a different bearing with the same inner diameter that is commonly used with 15123 and go from there. Since you still have the trailer frame as well...

1 1/4" by 3/4" axles use item # LM11949 as an inner bearing and item # LM67048 outer bearing. I recommend the Redline Trailer Hub Assembly item # AH15450ECOMP. These hubs are for agricultural applications and are rated for 3,000 lbs axles and have a 4 on 5 bolt pattern. This kit is sold individually so you will need to purchase two.

For a hub assembly with a 4 on 5 bolt pattern # AH15450ECOMP will work and the bearings, seal and cap are included. I linked the parts along with a few review videos for you to reference.

  • Is There a Trailer Hub Assembly with 3/4" and 1-1/4" Bearings
The only trailer hub assembly we offer with a .750" (part # LM11949) inner bearing and a 1.250" (part # LM67048) outer bearing is the Trailer Hub Assembly part # AH15450ECOMP which uses a 4 on 5" bolt pattern. This is a very odd bearing combo used only on agricultural trailers so they don't make many bolts patterns available, in fact it's only one.

If the # DX22XR is not wide enough for your spindle, unfortunately we do not have a longer hub with that same bearing combination and 5 on 4-1/2" pattern. • Can I use a different seal than what comes with DX22XR
That's a great question, Steven! Yes, you can totally swap hub # AH15450ECOMP for hub # DX22XR. To make it work, just be sure to use seal # SL150, it has a 1.5" inner diameter and a 2.331" outer diameter, which will fit perfectly with the Dexter hub. Just a quick note: when swapping hubs, it’s best to replace all of them with the same model to keep things consistent. Out of curiosity, what kind of trailer are you working on?

Sounds like you may have an older setup. If so you may need breaks and drums. All of the drums we carry for 3500 lbs axles are going to be 2 " deep.
