Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a CE Smith spindle for an axle. It's a Weldon application, and it's one and 1/16th inch diameter. So this is a straight spindle, meaning it's just one size bearings. It replaces a Warner damaged CE Smith spindle on your trailer.
But you could technically use this for maybe a custom spindle or custom axle rather on something that you're building at home. It's a weld-on installation, so make sure you are welded on correctly. If you're not a certified welder, you might wanna get someone to help you with this type of weld just because you wanna make sure everything is perfectly level across and not wobbling and what kind or not. So the spindle diameter is a one and 1/16th and that's gonna wrap it up for our look together folks. I'm Steven.
Thanks for watching.
These spindles are great however you need to cut another 1/16 th inch off the ROUND section so they can fit inside a 3/16 th square axle tube. Each time I get them I have to have a machine shop cut 1/16 th off the ROUND section in order for them to fit. Let me know if you can do that for future orders. Thank you.
