Question:

How long is the spindle over all? What is the measurement from the back bearing mounting surface and tip of the threads?

Hey Nate!

I measured the CE Smith Spindle Axle # CES38WR and the measurement using my Carbon Fiber Digital Caliper # PTW80157, and I took the measurements in three parts: back-to-shoulder was 4.06", shoulder-to-threads was 3.25", and thread-to-tip was 0.92". I've added a photo below that shows the measurements as well. The overall length from back-to-tip when adding these together came out to 8.23", but I'd allow some room for my inaccuracies, so I'd say 8"-8-1/4" just to be safe. Are you replacing spindles on your trailer or building a new trailer? What do you plan to tow with the trailer?
