These SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs add up to 1,800 lbs of support at 50-percent compression to keep things level and steady. They share the load with your factory suspension so your front tires stay planted for better traction, steering response, and braking when you’re towing or hauling a serious load.
Every bump and dip shouldn’t knock your gear around or make the ride rough. The microcellular urethane material cushions shocks and vibration while compressing progressively—soft at first for lighter loads, then firmer as weight increases. The result is smoother travel when empty and solid support when loaded down, without harsh bottoming out.
When a curve or side wind tries to push you around, each spring works on its own to keep your ride balanced. This independent action helps reduce sway and body roll through turns or on uneven ground so the truck feels planted even when one side is carrying more weight.
These springs are made from durable microcellular urethane that resists oil, road salt, and UV damage, and they perform in temperatures from -25 F to 200 F. They compress vertically with minimal side expansion so they fit tight spaces without rubbing nearby parts. With no air lines or pressure to maintain, they’re a simple, no-drill upgrade that delivers consistent support mile after mile.

Glad they are working well for you, Dale! The SumoSprings are a bit squishier than some of the other options out there, so they send to not be as harsh when unloaded. Still awesome. A year later, have hauled up to 16 golf cart batteries with no issues due to the weight. A real help in getting the work done without the fear of bottoming out.

Works as hoped and advertised. Easy to install, keeps the Tacoma level when pulling travel trailer. Stiffens ride when pickup is empty, but the trade off is acceptable.

The springs are working exactly as expect. I have need up to the mountains numerous times and to Monerary to the Sea Otter bike fest. They have reduced the body roll and helped keep the truck stable on the mountain roads or when loaded down for camping. Im very pleased I added these Sumo Springs to my Tacoma.
