Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Back ViewKsource Universal Towing Mirror Front View

These adjustable, universal-fit towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, they can be attached to a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirrors' mounting arms is jointed behind the mirrors so the arms pivot inward or outward. 2 Additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.

Ksource Sliding Clips on Universal Towing Mirror

Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirrors and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.

Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Ratchet Diagram

The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirrors securely over your existing mirrors. Quick-release buttons in the middle of the ratchet levers allow you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirrors. When you install the towing mirrors, use the ratchet levers to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirrors, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.

Ball joints behind the mirrors allow you to manually adjust the mirror faces to different viewing angles. You can also turn each entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirrors to prevent scratches when these mirrors are installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

2020 Toyota 4Runner

We bought a camper trailer and towed it home. Realizing the factory mirrors on the 5th gen 4runner don't quite stick out far enough to see the sides of the trailer or up coming traffic, the drive home was a little intense. We have multiple vehicles that can tow the trailer so I wanted to get something that could be universal. FYI, when dealing with mirrors, be careful you don't have hornets nests inside your vehicle mirrors, not fun. Either way, they were easy to install and have joints that allow for total adjustment. I would say it was easier to bend and position all the joints before I added the straps for mounting. The new mirrors sit tight and can be fully adjusted and rotated horizontal or vertically. Also clean off and dry your vehicle mirrors before attaching so the straps stick better.

2015 Jeep Cherokee

It is a universal fit, I had to add some zip ties to hold the outer strap from slipping g of the end of the mitrror.

by:

Does not fit a 2021 Ford F-150 as advertised. I had to use several tie wraps to keep it from falling off. Hopefully someone makes a custom fit trailer mirror for my truck soon.

Comments
These mirrors are universal mirrors and will fit a variety of trucks though they may not be a perfect fit. I did locate a set of snap on mirrors that would be a custom fit for your 2021 Ford F-150. They are part # KS69NQ

Nice mirrors. Works well and gives me a good view around my trailer. A bit tricky to install as the straps need to be placed to avoid my side mirror lights and sensors but stay in place once installed. Easier than converting to OEM extended mirrors.

by:
2018 Ford Expedition

I did a little over 1,000 miles this summer with these mirrors on a 2018 Ford Expedition. They held well, one downside is when that the power mirrors fold in with these attached the mirror hits the window. They could still function, but I wish they didn’t do that. Also when you put them on be cognizant of where the mirrors fold if your vehicle has powered mirrors. I could make it work just fine, but the first time I put them on I didn’t think about that.

by:

I was skeptical that they would fit on my large factory mirrors. I installed them both in about 45 minutes. I would recomend that the rachet straps be about 1 inch longer just to make the a little easer to get them started in rachet

Comments
I put them on and have never had any problems with them and I do drive on some pretty nasty Forest Service roads in Colorado. Once a put them on I have never taken them off or re adjusted them. A WIN WIN for me

2016 Toyota 4Runner

After determining best tension on straps securing mirrors, I found them to be easy to attach / detach from vehicle. I was especially pleased to find that the mirrors have NO vibration from road effects or wind.

My vehicle is a 2016 Toyota 4Runner (RWD), and the "hooks" on the ends of the mounting straps slip into the space between the vehicle mirror body and the vehicle mirror face to their full depth (eliminating vibration of towing mirror), while still allowing adjustment of vehicle mirror face.
Since I have been unable to find "direct mount to body towing mirrors (which I previously used with 3/4 ton pickups, I have been quite happy with these mirrors, which were recommended by an etrailer.com representative. If these mirrors should be damaged, I would probably replace with the same product, if still towing with a less-than-full size pickup or utility available with body mounted large-face adjustable mirrors

by:
2017 Ford Explorer

Beware of buying anything from etrailer! I ordered these mirrors and they do not fit. I had two etrailer employees tell me that based on the pictures I sent them that they do fit! Only one strap is holding the mirror on as the second strap slides off the car factor mirror.

Comments
Craig, thank you for your review. I have taken a look at your photos. Firstly, you want to move the straps in closer to the vehicle and center on the mirror. Also, the strap farthest from the vehicle is hooked into the top hole of the tab and the strap closest to the vehicle is hooked into the bottom hole of the tab. You want to make sure both hooks are in the bottom hole of the tabs and use the ratcheting mechanism to tighten up the fit. I have attached a video of installation on a 2018 Ford explorer that has very similar mirrors.

I’ve used these on my ‘18 Jeep JL for about 4,000 miles. They seem sturdy and easy to use. Since the Jeep has such small mirrors, and I didn’t want the extension mirrors coming off, I placed three small screws to give them more stability.

Comments
Excellent. We’ve taken several trips and they have been flawless!!

2019 Toyota 4Runner

I purchased these mirrors to pull a 15 ft. Lance trailer. I am using them on a 2019 Toyota 4Runner. They fit and work great. I can now see the vehicles behind me. I can't believe I pulled the trailer for the first year without these mirrors. What a difference!
I just got back from our first trip this 2022 season and was traveling a lot of 2 lane highway. On several occasions when meeting an 18-wheeler coming at me in the other lane, it would swing the entire mirror assembly in due to the wind. No big deal to correct (just had to roll down the window and push the mirror assembly back into position. I'm going to add a thin sheet of rubber in the mirror joint and see if that fixes this issue. Other than that, I highly recommend these mirrors.

by:
Ram 3500

Trailer Rocks! The price was very good for these mirrors and they worked awesome for our 3500 mile trip this past Summer. Much better than another brand I had purchased earlier.

by:
2020 Ford Ranger

Flying mirrors: the mirrors on our 2020 Ford Ranger are tapered. I tightened the straps on the etrailer mirrors at tight as they would go and then did a test drive. In less than one mile of driving I saw that the mirrors were sliding off and before I could stop, one flew off and broke. I later tried to attach the other mirror again and it would not stay due to the tapered mirror on the truck. This was a waste of my money.

The Buick side mirrors are probably not made to have add-on mirror accessories. On the first trip, one of them fell off as we travelled over a bridge. So I only have one left. It was somewhat difficult to make the strap-on mirror hold on to the Buick. Cars these days are so streamlined, there was really no place to get a good grip. Still, these K-source mirrors were the best ones I could find. I would buy them again, but perhaps use tape to ensure they stay on for the trip. It was the only trip we made to get the boat towed to the water.

Comments
That towing I did a year ago was so stressful, I havent towed my boat trailer since. Ill probably get my sons truck next time.

Toyota Tacoma

I used the mirrors all last summer on my Toyota Tacoma while towing our camper. They are great quality. Easy to put on and take off. No vibratiin on the mirrors while driving. Overall the mirrors are good quality and I would recommend them.

Comments
We have now had the mirrors for 2 camping seasons and they have held up great! Still easy to put on and take off. I do not take great care and usually shove them somewhere when they are not on the truck. They have still kept in very good shape and work just as well as the day I bought them. I would still definitely recommend them.

We are quite happy with the mirror extensions. They are easy to install and adjust and do give a better view of what is behind us.

They do the job site well. My only issue is that the straps come off really easily when not mounted. Mounted they are fine.

They are a little difficult to get in place, but they work well once you get them around your existing mirrors. I'm using them on a 2022 Chevy Colorado.

I have these mirror extensions mounted on a 2012 Lincoln Navigator and they fit securely. They provide a better view to my sides while pulling a dual axle closed car trailer.

Bought these for my 2016 Colorado to give me a bit better viewing when towing our vintage Shasta camping trailer. I absolutely love them, they stay on tight, dont damage the existing mirrors are and quick to install and remove between trips.

by:
2016 Honda Pilot

Although it came up as a mirror for a 2016 Pilot, it's not quite the best fit due to the shape of the Pilot mirrors, especially the passenger mirror with the lane camera. There's a step missing on the printed instructions, too, so check out the etrailer video for mounting- there's tab that locks onto the mirror frame. Without it, the extenders will just slide down the teardrop shaped mirrors as you tighten the straps.

Comments
Your vehicle does not have any custom fit towing mirrors unfortunately. These universal fit are the best we have for your mirrors.

  • Difference Between K-Source Tow Mirrors # KS3891-2 and # KS3891
The difference is the quantity. The part # KS3891-2 gives you two mirrors whereas the part # KS3891 only gives you a single mirror. If you want a set of mirrors for both sides of the vehicle you'd want the # KS3891-2. Or if you need just a single mirror you'd want the # KS3891. These mirrors will fit your Dakota well. I attached an install video that shows these installed on a similar Dakota.
