What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we'll be checking out the pure power blue. These are going to be treatment systems for your black water tank. What you're going to do is put these packets into your tank. That way it's going to help break things down in there and give it a better set than it has already.
It's going to be really be useful when it comes time to dump that tank here at your dumping station. Let's check it out. Now that we're inside and we're in the bathroom, they want you to dump this into the tank right away. Now, when you're doing this, initially, they recommend using two different packets. So this is going to be our first cleaning before we go out on our trips, so we want to make sure everything's prepped and ready.
So we're going to use two of these packets. And what we're going to do is dump them straight down into the tank and with all of two gallons of water, that way it gets it going, starts breaking down and get that smell out of there. So we'll just go ahead and do it. Go ahead and rip one of these, wide open, open the toilet and just dump it down in there. There's one, I can already smell it actually, and now here's two.
And I'm going to follow it up with two gallons of water. There's some left on the top, but that's what's going to look like in your tank. It's going to be blue and you can already kind of smell it it's gonna be way better than it was. So that's, what's going to be happening down in your tank as you add the water. That's really easy as it is to get it all prepped and ready.
Now, your tank's ready to go, your bathroom system set up. So it won't be such a bad experience when you go to dump the tank. Now we're going to fast forward a little bit to where we're going to dump the tank here in a couple of days, and I'm gonna show you what it looks like as it's coming out. Now, we've let it sit for a little while. It's time to put it to the test. I'm going to pull the lever on the black tank and dump that here at a dump station. We should be able to see in that clear elbow, the blue chemicals coming through. And so we're going to test that out. Now, if you we're going to do it on your gray tank, you would just dump it in your shower or your sink and run the water. That way it can be used for both. It's all there really is to it. It was pretty easy to put those packets in there and you saw it turned everything blue. There was no odor this time. We did it before without any treatment and never will do that again. We make sure we'll get that every time. Now, after the initial time where you use two packets, you only need one packet for a 40 gallon tank. So just keep that in mind when you're doing it before your adventures. That about does it, thanks for hanging out. And I hope this helped..
