The top channels accept channel-mount accessories while also working with clamp-on mounts, so you can mix and match gear from different seasons or brands without changing your setup. Some bars make you trim rubber strips before sliding in an accessory—these skip that step. The split strip design lets you slide mounts right into the top channel without cutting anything. When your gear is in place, the strip closes back around it to keep out wind and weather. It’s a simple detail that saves time every time you load up.
For extra security, these racks are ready for Thule’s One-Key System locks (sold separately). You can lock both the rack and any channel-mounted gear using a single key system, helping protect your setup when parked overnight or away from your vehicle.
