I have a Ski rack option for your 2021 Lexus RX 350, and you are correct that you will also need a roof rack system.
For the Ski rack I recommend the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7326B which will be able to carry 6 Skis or 4 Snowboards, and the included adapters will allow you to fit even tall bindings by raising the SnowPack away from your roof. The integrated locks will secure the Skis or Snowboards to the carrier, and secure the carrier to your roof rack system.
Moving onto the roof rack system, if your RX 350 has the flush mounted rails that run front to back I recommend the Thule Roof Rack System which uses 47" Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220, Evo Flush Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710601, and Fit Kit # TH186044. Adding the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450800 will allow the locks on both the roof rack and SnowPack # TH7326B to use the same key.
If your RK 350 has a bare roof I recommend the Inno Roof Rack System which uses 45" and 42" Inno Aero Crossbars # INXB108-115, Inno Flush Feet for Aero Crossbars # INXS200, and Fit Kit # INK478. This system includes locking covers to secure the roof rack to your vehicle's roof.
