Do I Need a Fit Kit with my Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars on my 2017 Lexus RX 350?

Question:

If I purchase TH711220 Bars with TH710601 Feet to fit the Lexus: 1 Do I need the TH186044 kit? 2 Will this setup work with the Lexus moonroof? Its confusing that TH710601 dont include the actualinch mounting hardware that secure the feet to the rail. Just want to be sure prior to purchase.

Yes, to mount your Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220 with the Evo Flush Rail Feet # TH710601 on your 2017 Lexus RX 350 with flush rails, you will need the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Flush Roof Rack Feet - 186044
# TH186044. The combination of the feet and the fit kit provide the attaching mechanisms to secure to the rails. I went ahead and attached a video that shows how they attach.

As far as the compatibility with the moonroof with the crossbars, there is about 2-1/2 inches from the roof of the vehicle to the bottom of the crossbars when mounted on the feet. I recommend measuring your moonroof clearance to make sure there is enough roof for clearance.
