Question:
Manufacturers said my step is part number lc3722615, is there a cheaper replacement? I can’t see the difference between 615, 616, 617.

I feel confident that the manufacturer would have recommended the parts that you need. You asked about several different part numbers - they are listed below along with the differences.
# LC3722615: Motor and control unit
# LC3722616: Motor only
# LC3722617: Motor and switch kit
I have included a link to each so that you may examine the different ones and see their current pricing. I have also included a link to an install video that will help you see the different parts and how they work together.
