This Yakima SkyLine Roof Rack gives you the space to haul more gear without crowding your cabin. The setup includes 2 JetStream crossbars, 4 SkyLine towers, and a custom fit kit that mounts to fixed points on your roof. With a 165-lb weight capacity and sturdy aluminum construction, it’s strong enough for kayaks, cargo boxes, or camping gear while keeping everything secure for the long haul.
Wind noise can make road trips less enjoyable. These aero-style crossbars are shaped to reduce drag and cut down on wind noise. Push-down rubber strips in the top channels close around your accessory hardware instead of leaving gaps, helping to reduce vibration and whistling as you drive.
Some racks require trimming rubber inserts before you can mount accessories. The JetStream bars make it easier. The push-down rubber strips let you press channel-mount hardware right into place—no trimming required. Once the mounts are tightened, the strips spring back around them to keep out wind and weather while maintaining a clean look.
Whether it’s a weekend on the water or a family road trip, these crossbars work with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers that attach either in the top channels or around the bars. That flexibility means you can use your existing accessories or upgrade later without needing a new rack system.
Add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) to help deter theft of the rack when your vehicle is parked. It’s a simple way to keep your setup secure whether you’re stopping overnight or heading out on the trail.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
