Question:
I purchased a 2021 RAV4 XSE hybrid with flush mounted rails. Looking for system that will allow clearance for the power tilt moon roof. I read in the QA a recommendation for similar vehicle type but do not see clearance anywhere. The higher rates the better but looking for at least 150lb.

For your application I recommend installing the Yakima JetStream roof rack on your 2021 Toyota RAV4 with flush rails:
50" JetStream Crossbars - Black # Y00425
SkyLine Towers - # Y53TR
Landing Pad 23 - # Y98FR
You honestly shouldn't have any clearance issues with any roof rack when it comes to the moonroof, but the Yakima towers tend to sit on the higher end so you'll get as much clearance as possible. Most roof rack manufacturers don't recommend opening up a sun/moonroof with the roof rack installed because it changes the aerodynamics of the setup, but anytime that we have measured there is plenty of clearance to open up the roof with the crossbars still installed.
This roof rack also has a 165 lb weight rating so you can get the full capacity out of the roof rack if your RAV4 is rated that high.

John G. I am wondering if the rav4 flush rail attachment point is the same as the flush rail attachment point in the current gen2 Venza XLE. In other words could I use the same Yakima landing pads on my Venza as you recommend for the rav4?
