Question:
Looking at buying a 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6. Will the Yakima Skyline towers and Jet Stream bars work with the factory rack? I want to mount a Thule Hullivator on it. Will the rack support 200lbs? Does the Skyline towers fit where the Outback swing bars go? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425 and SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y53TR will fit the factory rails when used with Landing Pad 13 for Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers # Y00239. They will install in place of the factory crossbars. The capacity of the crossbars is 165 lbs. It looks like the roof of the 2010 Outback can only handle 150 lbs so that will be your limit.
