This rack installs right to the fixed mounting points using the included Evo Fixpoint feet and custom fit kit. The design keeps things snug and even across the roof for a stable fit. You can upgrade the rack with Thule One-Key System locks (sold separately) to deter theft of the rack itself. It’s an easy way to add some peace of mind when leaving your gear loaded overnight or parked at the trailhead.
These 1-1/4" wide x 7/8" tall square crossbars work with accessories that clamp around the bars, so you can attach kayak carriers, cargo boxes, or roof baskets with familiar mounts. It’s a straightforward setup that gives you flexibility across seasons and adventures.

Well made bars, but too short for my application. Etrailer only shows the 50" bars. Thule sells longer bars that allow for a Thule bike carrier to mount accross the towers as recommended by Thule. I had to order new 53" bats from Thule.
Have ordered from E Trailer in the past and the service has always been fantastic. This time I needed Thule crossbars quickly, paid for 2nd day delivery and I had them in one day. Couldn't be more satisfied! Thanks again.
Install was pretty straight forward. I did have to drill holes on the roof gutters for the fixed point bolts (2024 Mazda 3 5dr). Shipping was delayed by a month but it was not due to etrailers fault.
Thule crossbars are very solid and well made for carrying weight within the stated class limits. I expect long life usage from them. They are also exceptionally versatile for multiple uses. More importantly, etrailer is top notch for service and support. The delivery came damaged by the shipper with end cap missing. etrailer support provided the missing part and had it delivered within a short period. The entire experience with etrailer is nothing less than excellent.
I'm using these Thule Evo Fixpoint Feet #710701 in conjunction with the FitKit #87003 to mount my DropRack XL to the rooftop of my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Eventually I'll get a Thule Rooftop Cargo Box to transport our RV camping supplies for which we don't have enough room in the Jeep or our Aliner RV camper. For now, I'm also using the setup to transport 4' x 8' plywood sheets for a DIY home project. This is the perfect solution for a multi-use application that'll enable us to accomplish more projects around the house as well as on the road.
The fixed point feet fit perfectly on the EVO cross bar, but typical of Thule the channel for the feet kept them 2” to far apart. Thule wants you to always buy complete new sets of everything. I extended the channel by 1” on each side. Everything fit perfectly.
