Question:

I have older square bars with the extension in it to help loading had them for years . Is there a fit kit that would let me use these on my RAV4 2023 with flush rails? I have a video of it but didn’t know how to send it to you. Thank You!

Hey Sheila. The Thule SquareBar Evo Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points item # TH94UG is going to be the only square bar roof rack I have that fits a 2023 Toyota RAV4 with factory flush rails. I don't know if the mounting components will work with your older square bars. It uses the following parts to attach the square bars to the flush rails:

Fit Kit for Thule Evo Fixpoint and Edge Fixpoint Roof Rack Feet item # TH78RE

What brand and model square bars do you have and what do you use them for? If you could find any part numbers or marking on your square bars, I can see if those parts will allow you to reuse your square bars on your 2023 Toyota RAV4?

All I can find so far is a number of a kit that was for the end caps of the bar =It. was kit # 1157 Thule - they are Thule bars from probably around the mid 2000’s. This kit box has a date of 5-3-2011so they would have been the squaare bars from that period. If I find any more info I will contact you. I hate to spend the money on new bars if I don’t have to. @SheilaB Thank you so much for that information Sheila and you're welcome. The Thule traverse fit kit 1157 works with the discontinued Thule LB50 square bars. These have a different mounting style than the new Evo Fixpoint Feet for Thule Evo Crossbars item # TH49SC that came out a few years ago. I do not have a way or know of one for you to reuse any of your current roof rack components on a 2023 Toyota RAV4 with factory flush rails. The Thule SquareBar Evo Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points item # TH94UG is my only solution for you. This is a complete roof rack kit that includes the new 1-1/4" wide 50" long Evo style square bars. It includes all the parts you'll need to attach the crossbars to your RAV4's roof rails.
