Recommended Roof Rack for a 2025 Lexus RX 350h w/ Two Hullavators

Question:

I have a 2025 Lexus RX350h. I understand the rack system that fits my car is the Thule TH28 PG. It includes 50” cross bars. My question: Do the 50” aero bars in this package provide enough overhang on my car so the Thule hullavator pro will extend far enough so as not to contact the side of the car when lowered? I plan to mount hullavator pro kayak carriers on both sides of the car. If the 50” bar is too short, what bar is needed and what is the best way to purchase the appropriate equipment for this installation since this package seems to come with no bar length options?

Hey Ken! The 50" aero bars are definitely going to be too short. Each Thule Hullavator item # TH898 requires 28-1/2" of crossbar space, so with two of them you will need at least 57" crossbars. This means you'll have to install the 60" long Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars item # TH711520.
