Hi, Im thinking of buying 2 sets of Thule Hullavators. Would Thule Probar crossbars fit on my 2018 Maza CX-5? If so, what kind of feet/towers are recommended? If not, what other crossbars are recomended? My car has OEM side rails on the roof.

Hey Robert,
You could definitely go with the Thule Probars, TH713600, on your Mazda CX-5. You would want to pair those with the right fit kit and feet for your vehicle with those raised rails. For the feet pack you want to go with # TH49SC and for the custom fit kit you will need # TH22RA. These parts will all work well together to get that roof rack installed on your vehicle. The Thule Hullavators will fit right onto these crossbars great.
One thing I always recommend checking is how much weight you are going to be putting on the roof. I would double check in your manual what the roof capacity is on your Mazda to make sure you are not exceeding that.

Kayaks are 49 lbs each which I think is going to end up being over the roof’s weight limit of 165 lbs. I may look into the Yakima Showdown instead but I’m not sure if 2 of those will fit.
