A bumpy road can shake your trailer and everything inside it. This curved equalizer connects double-eye leaf springs on tandem- or triple-axle setups and lets the suspension move naturally between axles. That movement transfers shock and load evenly, so the ride stays steadier and the cargo isn’t tossed around. With its 14-3/4" center-to-center length, it keeps the geometry correct for balanced axle travel and a smoother tow.
When one axle hits a pothole or dip, the load shifts. This equalizer spreads that force across both axles so the weight stays balanced. The result is fewer jolts, less stress on the springs, and better control on uneven ground. It’s a simple part that makes a big difference in how the trailer tracks and handles.
Loose or mismatched hardware leads to wear and noise. This equalizer is drilled with precise 9/16" bolt holes—center, left, and right—so standard suspension bolts fit snugly. It links to the springs with shackle straps and hangs from the center hanger for a tight, secure setup that holds alignment mile after mile.
It’s designed to match 1-3/4" wide double-eye springs, giving the suspension full range of motion without binding. The 7-3/8" distance from the center hanger bolt to the outer shackle bolts and 2" height from shackle to hanger give it the right proportions for consistent movement and dependable performance every trip.

Received 3 of the 4 parts ordered due to poor packaging. The box was torn in 2 places and I guess the parts fell out in transit. Working with Victoria to get resolved but what a waist of time.

Order these equalizers for a 42 inch spread axle. Etrailer has excellent customer service. I ordered these first a couple of months ago there was only one in stock. The company notified me right away to let me know the second equalizer was on back order. I chose to cancel the order but never did get around to replacing the parts, so I ordered them again. Etrailer shipped shipped on the same day and received them within 3 or 4 days. these come with a nylon bushings already installed so it's a simple change out to install them. I have gone to a wet-bolt--greasable bolt system, so these should last a lot longer than the originals.

New equalizers are still doing fine. Converted to wet greasable bolts, so wear on suspension seems to be minimal.
I purchased (4) of these Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Spring - 14-3/4" Long - 9/16" Center Hole. Item # K13-142-02.

Exact duplicates of the stock Dexter equalizers. Removed nylon bushings and replaced with steel bushings with wet bolts.
My 2019 Coachman Freedom Express Liberty 320BHDS was chewing the inside treads of tires regardless of rotations. Thanks to Kyle B and Daylon H, your team quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended this suspension upgrade including new 6000lb leaf springs, u-bolts, equalizer and the MORyde wetbolt hardware kit. Installation took the better part of a weekend, but was a complete success. Be mindful of the torque specs and ensuring your RV is properly supported (including axles). Thanks to some recently cut stumps, I was able to support boths sides of the axles to safely torque bolts to 80lbs. RV rides about 1.5 inches higher, but nice and smooth. No noticeable camber with the tires now. Time will tell, but sincere thanks to Kyle and Daylon for taking their time to view my photos and answer questions.
