Recommended Heavier Duty Leaf Springs For 25 Trailer With Tandem 3500lb Axles

Updated 09/02/2021 | Published 09/01/2021

Question:

I have a 25foot bumper pull. It has a dry weight of 6700 lbs. It has dual 3500 lb Lippert axles. I assume it has 3500lb springs, dont know. The springs measure center of eye to eye 26.25inch compressed and 25inch on one and 25.18inch on other drooping while one entire side of rv lifted by frame. The equalizer bar is that long 14.75inch Lippert. The springs are 1.75inch across and there are 4 leafs stacked. It has a roughly 42inch wheel base center axle to center axle. I would like to upgrade to a little heavier spring as these are only 5 years old and are sagging, badly on one side. I measured the good side. I also need u bolts, replacement hardware, bushings, pretty much an entire package to do this correctly from start to finish.

We have exactly what you are looking for.

Since your leaf springs are right around 25-1/4" long with no weight on the axle I recommend the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles # e57SR which will give you the extra support you are looking and will bolt right up to your trailer.

For replacement U bolts you will need four of the # CE23002, and for new hardware for mounting the springs to the hangers we have the # 166081 which is a standard bolt and nut, or the # 126B2 which is a greaseable wet bolt with a nut.

If you are wanting a replacement equalizer as well then you will need the # K13-142-02 which has the 14-3/4" Length you need to match your current equalizer.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
