Great product

Service from staff was great ,order was shipped fast ,Waiting on shackles,I recived a call and email that shackles were not in stock for delivery but they will ship them soon as they came . Great customer service,Will order from etrailer again will post pictures in future were are building a travel/gypsy trailer. Thanks etrailer

This product was easy to install and seemed to be well made. It gave me a few extra inches of height that I wanted to help level my fifth wheel. I would have prefered to find one made in the USA and one that had bronze bushings. I took out the plastic bushings and installed the equalizer with a wet bolt kit with bronze bushings and grease zerks on the bolts. The service at etrailer was great. I needed the equalizers quickly and etrailers representative was friendly and helpful and shipping was immediate.

by:

Just what I needed. Fast delivery and easy to install. Adam did a great job finding this part for a older trailer.

by:

I have a 2001 travel trailer and I had a spring break on the front axle, thank God I was only a quarter mile from home. I went on the E trailer site easily found the springs I needed, the Triangular equalizer, and the bolts I needed. My order arrived 3 days later, I was very pleased with the quality of all my parts. Some reviews complain about the parts made in china, well lets be honest what is made in the USA any more. Every thing fit as expected and my project is done. Would definitely recommend E trailer to anyone who wants a good product at a fair price . Thanx E trailer!!

by:

Quality and fit are good. The paint is thin so I painted them because they are going on a boat trailer.

by:

The product is exactly what I ordered. Shipping was very quick. The staff at Etrailer was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I'm sure I will order from them next time I need parts for one of my trailers.

by:

Product seems to be of decent quality, but was missing a bushing when I recieved it. That put me another 3 days behind waiting for them to send out a bushing to replace the one left out of the order. They aren't able to be locally procured for me, so I had to wait on shipping. Quality control could use some work.

by:

Looks to be exact fit.

by:

Not only were the parts the right parts the kit had all I needed to do it right the videos made it as easy as it could be. The right parts that work and good videos on how to do it. I did call to be sure I was ordering everything I was going to need and was given great advise and was not encouraged to get things that I did not need. They are my go to team to get anything trailer done.

by:

Worked great, paint is holding up, hardware was good quality, bolted right in…no issues, hold load at least as good as factory springs. Would recommend and buy again!!

by:

Old ones out, new ones in. Easiest thing I've done to the camper to this date. Fast delivery time and well packaged. I will be doing all my future business with you.

Triangular equalizer works great, just exactly what I needed, typical of everything i’ve gotten from Etrailer. Make it your first place to shop and it will be a one-stop shopping experience.

by:

I ordered springs, bushings , shackles, equalizer, and bolts from e-trailer for my rv tandem axle Chris helped me insure I had the correct parts and the correct quantity of parts. I put one on and everything went fine. The only problem was the galvanized coating on the shackles made the hole to small and had to be drilled. ETrailer has great videos to show you how it is done. The phone sales staff was knowledgeable and effective, and shipment was quick, and all parts were there.

by:

Great products for a good price and fantastic service. I will be using etrailer again.
I broke one spring on my tandem axle trailer. After a little internet search I found etrailer. I decided to change all springs(upgraded to p4)shackles,equalizers,n bolts) total price around $200.00 about 40 percent cheaper than a local trailer repair shop..I ordered it early on a Tuesday and I got the order on Wednesday. Changed out parts on Thursday and back on the road on Friday. Great company to deal with!!

by:

Fit perfectly. Thanks

by:

First time buyer @ etrailer, web-site was easy to navigate and find what I needed at a very good price. Shipping was very quick. Parts installed without any problems... very nice fit.

Thanks, will be looking forward to our next shopping trip.

  • Replacement Equalizer, Shackles and Shock Kit For a 2022 Nash 23D Travel Trailer
The Triangular Equalizer # TREQ310 is a replacement for the Dexter 13-10 on your 2022 Nash 23D travel trailer. You should consider upgrading to the MORryde ALLTREK 4000 Shock Absorbing Equalizers # MR89DR. These will pair with either the 2-1/4" # MR46ZR or 3-1/8" # MR76ZR shackle kits depending on the length from center hole to center hole on your shackle links. While we do not carry the same KYB shocks installed by Nash we do have the Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kits. These are available for...

  • What is Best Way to Lift Trailer Suspension To Allow Fifth Wheel to Sit Level w Over Axle Springs
The ideal trailer height is one that allows it to sit as level as possible and has at least 6 inches between the bed rails of the truck and the overhang of the trailer. Since you need a bit more height and you have your axles below your leaf springs already and you have different mounting holes on your suspension hangers your best option would be to move the springs to the lower holes as that would give you the 1 inch of lift you are looking for. Going with a taller equalizer too would...

  • Cushioned Equalizer Upgrade Recommendation for 2012 Forest River Work and Play
Mark, the Dexter EZ Flex part # K71-652-00 can be used to replace your # TREQ310 and is cushioned like you are wanting. The 25-1/4 inch leaf spring size is very common but you didn't mention what axle capacity you have so if you needed a 5k spring you'd part # e44sr, 4k axle part # e57SR, or 6k axle part # e34SR. Keep in mind going with a little higher of a capacity than needed is perfectly fine.

  • Can Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit Replace Dexter 13-10 Equalizer
Your 13-10 equalizers, which should be equivalent to Equalizer # TREQ310 measures 6-1/16 inches from bolt hole to bolt hole (see accompanying photo) and due to that you will need to use the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System # K71-652-00. Your equalizers are not long enough to use the other kit you referenced; the replacements you select do need to measure up from bolt hole to bolt hole. I have added a link to a video review and video install for you to check out as well.

  • Replacing Equalizer And Shackles On 2018 Keystone Sprinter 5th Wheel 269FWRLS
Hello George, thanks for reaching out. When replacing equalizers and shackles, it is critical that the replacement parts are identical in size to the stock components. There is a small amount of tolerance, like maybe 1/2" or less, but any difference more than this can throw the suspension off and cause things to go out of alignment. Also, the axle spacing is not the best thing to use for selecting an equalizer. The best way is to go strictly off the dimensions of the current equalizer....

  • Can I Change Out My Short Equalizers For Taller Equalizers
You could use a 6-1/6" long by 4" tall equalizer like part # TREQ310 to replace your 6-1/8 x 3-3/4 however changing to a taller equalizer may require you to change to taller spring hangers to keep the geometry correct. The suspension may still be level without changing the hangers but it is possible you will have to change them. I have attached a helpful article for your reference.

  • Can The # TREQ310 Be Replaced With The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687
Hi Lee, The # TREQ310 has a 4" vertical spacing compared to the Equa-Flex's # LC279687 2-1/2" spacing so that would cause an issue with your height. With the spacings for this equalizer the other options we offer would either decrease the height or require you to rework your leaf springs, shackle straps, and possibly hangers to fit the new spacings. The closest option we offer would be the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740, which has a 3-1/4" height. You could go with...

This equalizer measures 6" center to center of the bolt holes and 4" tall, and the best option for an upgrade is one with the same 6" measurement. For that and the upgrade kit use the following: - Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 - MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR This is 3-1/4" tall compared to your 4" tall equalizer so you'll lose...

Or for something more similar in height we have the MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 33" Wheelbase - 8K # MR87ZR but this will require shorter shackle straps part # MR46ZR.

  • Correct Replacement for Dexter 13-10 Equalizer
The correct replacement for a Dexter 13-10 Equalizer is the Triangular Equalizer part # TREQ310, not the Curved Equalizer part # TREQE1. If you want to upgrade, the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers part # LC279688 would work but you might want to go with a slightly shorter shackle strap like part # TRSL200 or part # TRSL225 due to the equalizer being longer. I do have an upgrade option for your 6-1/16" long, 4" tall Equalizer # TREQ310, and since you don't want to lower the ride height with the E-Z Flex # K71-652-00, I recommend going with an option from MORryde, as the Equa-Flex are just too long at 7-1/2". So instead I recommend the following: - MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 33" Wheelbase - 8K # MR87ZR - MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR The MORryde # MR87ZR...

  • Can Taller Trailer Suspension Equalizer Increase Trailer's Ride Height
You could do that, but in order to get the height increase, you'll also need to go with taller front and rear spring hangers. For instance, if your current equalizers are 2 inches high, and you switch to the # TREQ310 equalizer which would add two inches, you'd also need a 2 inch taller spring hanger, such as # E4139. If you don't raise the height all the way across the board, the trailer could handle poorly and be more susceptible to sway. If the trailer has a 2-3/8 or a 3 inch diameter...

  • Using Taller Equalizer to Lift Trailer After Changing to Lower Mounting Holes on Hangers
As you mentioned in your question, we typically recommend replacing existing hangers with taller ones to ensure you get the trailer lift you are wanting. But with that being said, in your particular application, that is what you will essentially be doing since you already adjusted the front and rear hangers to the lower mounting hole. Changing your equalizer height by two inches will gain you a slight height increase, but because all the pieces of the suspension (springs and shackles) all move together, you will not get the full 2 inch height increase. The equalizer will be a bit taller, but most of the height difference will be taken up by the springs and shackles, because the height is not being changed at either end where the springs connect to the spring hangers. Your best bet would be to choose taller spring hangers,...

You want to raise the rear of the trailer so the underside of the loft won't hit the bed sides at the rear of the truck, is that correct? If the leaf springs for your camper are UNDER the axle, and your axle is 2-3/8 or 3 inches in diameter, you can use an Over-Under kit, like # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8 axle or # K71-385-00 for a 3 inch...

You could use a taller equalizer but you would also need to use taller front and rear hangers as well. Everything will have to be raised equally so if you go up 2 inches in one spot you have to go up 2 inches in all spots. If you do not raise it at all the hangers as well the trailer will ride awkwardly and lead to poor tracking, uneven tire wear and could reduce the capacity of the trailer. When raising the height of a trailer you also raise its center of gravity. This makes the trailer...
