Question:

I have a 2024 Chevy Z71 Colorado. Will this cover TX95NV work? And will it work with the Thule TracRac TH43002XT-783 for carrying kayaks? Thank you.

Hi WMC; yes, the TruXedo Sentry Hard Tonneau Cover # TX95NV will fit your 2024 Colorado Z71. Since this mounts inside the bed rails it is also compatible with the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-783.

However, this ladder rack is not a fit for the 2024 Colorado. You will need to use a different ladder rack like the Adarac Aluminum Series # A66ZA if you want to use the tonneau cover and carry your kayaks. The other option would be to get a tonneau cover like the RetraxONE XR Hard Tonneau Cover # RTX74TR with rails and use the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-5855. The capacity is lower but you can position it anywhere on the rails just like the TracRac SR.

Thanks Robin H. I'm a little confused, when I put the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack #TH43002XT-783 into my cart for purchase it reads not compatible. Is that because I have a 2024 and it's only confirmed to year 2022? Does Thule have a base rail for a 5 foot bed?

@Wmc since it has been a couple months I'm not sure what happened here. Perhaps I assumed you went through the fitguide to find that ladder rack. I'm guessing now you ran a search without looking at ladder racks that fit the 24 Colorado to find it. It is my fault for not double checking. Assuming it fit, it would have worked with the tonneau cover. However, it is not a fit for the 2024. I went ahead and changed the answer above

@RobinH Thanks, originally it did come up in the fit guide for my search. I had to delay ordering it and updated info alerted me not compatible. I’m hoping Thule comes out with a base rail for 2023 and up Chevy Colorado. I really like that set up.

@Wmc I talked to our fitguide team and it looks like this carried over without them realizing and they went back and fixed it. The rack fits models with a 6' bed and all of the newer models have a 5' bed. It is possible Thule will come out with something but that cutoff is 2022 so they must not be in a big rush.
