Ladder Rack Recommendation for Retrax Tonneau Cover to Use with Thule Hullavator TH898

Question:

Is there a ladder rack that will work with this cover to support 2 kayaks and Thule Hullavator kayak racks on a 2025 F250 Crew Cab with 6 3/4 bed? Thanks

Hey Walt, since the Retrax Tonneau part # RTT-80383 that you referenced has T-slots for accessories you can use the Yakima Overhaul HD part # Y01151-5855 for a ladder rack and since the crossbars of this rack have channels of their own on top of them that would allow you to use the Thule Hullavator part # TH898.

I have concerns about the tie down hook on the ends of the crossbars of the Overhaul HD - will the Hullavator Pro be able to mount close enough to the end of the crossbar so that the tie down hook does not interfere with the mounting or operation of the Hullavator? Thanks, -

@Walt This is a great question that I had to do a little digging on but I did find someone who used the Yakima Overhaul HD with a Thule Hullavator but they did have to take a dremol to the endcaps to allow the hardware of the Hullavator to fit properly.

I wonder - since I would never use that end cap as a tie down with the hullavator mounted on the crossbar - is there a replacement end cap that would close off the end of the crossbar but not interfere with the Hullavator?
