Question:

I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 short bed with a Gator tri-fold hard tonneau cover, would the ts rack elevate rail system work with the current setup that I have?

Hi Eric; it looks like there are a few different versions of the Gator hard folding covers so I'm not entirely sure which one you have. If it mounts inside the bed rails it is compatible with the TS rails. If it mounts on top then it is not compatible.

Assuming it does mount inside the bed rails, you can use the TS Rails for TruXedo Elevate Rack System # TH75FR which are designed for the 5-3/4' bed. If you have the 6-1/2' bed the # TH65FR is the correct part number.

What are you planning to use the rails for?

Thanks Robin for the reply. The specific model is “8828130 - Gator FX Tonneau Cover” , would the TH85HR still work?

@Eric that cover does mount inside the bed rails so the TS rails will work. The TH85FR is not a fit no matter what since it is for compact trucks. The two listed above would be correct it just depends on your exact bed length. It looks like the 8828130 is for the 5-3/4' bed so you need the # TH75FR.

@Eric there is one but we no longer carry it. The ladder rack we have that will fit the rails is the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Tonneau Cover Adapters - 68" Crossbars # Y01151-5855.
