Question:

I own a Thule hullavatot and want to be able to mount on new 2024 Tundra. Looking at Yakima Overhaul, mainly because can use with BAK x4ts T slot rails. Will Hullavator attach to the Overhaul HD crossbars? I have Thule WingBar Evos, can they be used with the Overhaul towers? Thanks

Great questions!

Your Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 will fit perfectly on the HD crossbars that come on the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Tonneau Cover Adapters # Y01151-5855. I recommend using the T-Slot mounting method as the HD bars may be slightly too wide for the clamping brackets.

All crossbars are designed to fit specific legs so while you could technically fit your WingBar Evo crossbars into the uprights of the OverHaul, they won't fit properly and will have long-term issues if you try to go that route.

@JonG What length of HD Crossbar for the Overhaul would be best to maintain the 4inches minimum distance from the side of the Tundra? Thanks

Ordered and received the Elevate rack, started to install today. The posts fit nicely on the T-slot rails on each side of my BAK x4ts tonneau, but on starting the crossbar I found the 67" crossbars are too short! They do not reach to the outer edge of the post on either side, and would not be able to connect to the most with 2 T-slot screws. I called info (it is Sunday) and was told that I had to return the entire Elevate system - I could not just exchange the crossbars for a longer size. So I am boxing up the entire rack system (again) to send back via UPS. Interestingly, I was also told the the Elevate system is not listed as fitting my 2024 Tundra Limited. After putting on the posts successfully, not sure why this is the case., Regardless I am still interested in purchasing an Elevate rack system for my truck, but just need longer crossbars. After searching ongoing it appears that there are 2 other lengths available: 72 inches and 76 inches. Which would you recommend to be sure to fit a Hullavator? The 72 inch would at least reach the end of the rack system posts. Do I really need a 4 inch minimum overhang to be sure the Hullavator doesn't scratch the side of the truck? @RC I reached out to my contact at Real Truck to see what's going on with this and he said the Telescoping Rack for TruXedo Elevate Rack System # TX84NV is a confirmed fit for your 2024 Toyota Tundra and that he actually has the same kit installed on his Super Duty. The crossbars should be labeled as the kit 1118570 and should have 76" long crossbars. I see that you've been communicating with our Customer Service team about a return so if you can get the ladder rack kit back to them, we'll double check what was sent to you and make sure you get the correct product.
