Im planning on installing a Yakima Overhaul HD bed rack system, and im wandering it it would be possible to mount an awning on the HD crossbars directly basically without mounting a bed rack on the crossbars

Yes. You can mount an awning on Yakima Overhaul HD systems like the # Y01151-5855. If you wanted to use the Yakima Slim Shady Awning # Y36VR, that awning will mount using the included clamps to the HD bars on the Overhaul system. If you're wanting to use a Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning # RR33100 you will need to use the T-slot channels on the HD bars to mount the awning on your Overhaul HD system.

You will not need a cargo carrier or platform rack to mount either of these systems.

I have the Yakima Overhaul HD crossbars and Yakima Overhaul HD truck bed rack system. I recently purchased a Rhino Rack Batwing awning but unfortunately the box came without ANY attaching hardware except the brackets. What mounting kits do I need to mount the bracket to the awning AND to the Yakima Overhaul Crossbar? When I look at the bracket kits online it appears to only have the parts to attach the bracket to the awning only, not the bracket to the crossbar channel. Looking for a solution - thanks.

It sounds like you just need the Hardware Kit # RR31111. This is what is used to attach the awning to the channels on the top of those Yakima bars.

Have a AEV roof rack what mounting kit do I need for a awning that fits. I’m putting it on a 2017 Jeep unlimited jk

I believe your AEV setup is similar to the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Trays like JB0892. If that's the case on your Jeep, then your best option is an awning like the Rhino-Rack # RR32133, which is designed to attach to the built-in channels on the rack's side rails.
