Adapt your camper shell, hard tonneau, or hardtop resin roof to carry gear with this roof-rack system. Locking, Quick Mount legs mount to tracks. Black, Vortex Aero crossbars accommodate clamp-on and channel-mount gear.

Specs:
The bases of these Rhino Rack legs easily mount into the included Rhino-Rack RTC-style roof rack tracks with included hardware. Just slide the nuts into the tracks, line up the mounting plates, and bolt the bases down. After this initial setup, you can leave the bases in the tracks.
Molded inserts help keep out dirt and provide a finished look when there are no legs and crossbars installed. To install a leg, simply remove the insert.
Once you've set up the bases, installing and removing your roof rack is easy. The Quick Mount legs have an integrated trigger system that creates an easy, tool-free installation.
To install a leg in a base, pinch and slide the internal triggers together.
Lower the leg onto the base and slide the internal triggers apart to secure the leg in the base.
Once the leg is installed in the base, replace the cover and lock it to help secure the system to your roof.

Adapt your camper shell, hard tonneau, or hardtop resin roof to carry gear with this roof-rack system. Locking, Quick Mount legs mount to tracks. Black, Vortex Aero crossbars accommodate clamp-on and channel-mount gear.very solid rack, it's not going anywhere. Several fasteners to affix to truck cap. Clean look for the First Gen Tacoma (1999).
This is the second vehicle now that I've put the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar roof rack kit on. The instructions aren't too hard to follow with basic assembly knowledge and etrailer has a video tutorial for installation instruction which helped also. I didn't realize the allen wrench they provided also doubles as the security bolt bit you'll need when installing the brackets into the tracks so I just picked one up at the local hardware store. It's a great value for this product and I never had issues with my last kit and don't anticipate any with this one.
My roof rack arrived today and I installed the rails.
The product is sturdy, and attractive.
I am very pleased with the quality.
Installation Instructions are clear and precise.
The most important detail is to install the tracks parallel to each other and square to the roof
I recommend taking time to get this step correct.
I had another rack at one point but this rhino rack is far superior.
I would recommend it highly.
Customer service is excellent. My rhino rack was delayed in the mail, Sheila assured me it was shipped on time. After two weeks I reported it as missing mail with the post office, and 5 days later it arrived. The box was pretty beat up, and two of my legs to attach the crossbar were missing. Called customer service and they were more than helpful to get me the parts I’m missing. I’m not certain, but the hole in the box was not big enough for the package with the legs in it to fall through. The rack itself is well made. It took me about 4 hours to install the tracks by myself. Had a missing bolt , had to find another and grind it down to the length I needed. The box had three sets of directions, so after going through them I figured it out. The nuts that fasten the rail to the truck were a little too short to accommodate the big plastic housing that holds the nut, because my truck cap has a section of it with a double roof. So I extracted the nuts out of them and found suitable large washers and used a socket to install. Waiting on the two legs to finish the job, then install the kayak holders onto my bars!
Will send pics when job completed!
The Rhino-Rack aero bars were very easy to install, I was very careful to make sure that the rails were parallel so that I have multiple positions for the aero bars without having to adjust the towers. Also, I like the ease of removing the racks for the carwash.
Great bang for your buck roof rack. Excellent quality and easy to install. The only problem I had was one of the square fasteners was not threaded correctly for the bolt but easy fix. Overall 5 star
2017 F150 Camper Shell. Nice system and install is pretty simple once you gather your measurements, Luckily, I have a friend with an identical truck, so it didn’t take me very long. I used blue painters take to layout the tracks and drilled my holes. System is nice but does whistle at 70 mph.
UPS destroyed the first rack system that came but etrailer sent a second one very fast. Zero complaints
Good bang for the buck with this setup. Installed on an ARE CX Classic bed cap (F-150 w 6.5’ bed) and the sizing is perfect. I can’t imagine spending almost double for other brands with the quality of this kit. Install was simple once the tracks were mounted to the cap. Looking forward to adding some Rhino-Rack accessories in the future.
The slide rails were too long for my truck but was able to cut them to fit. One of my end caps for cross rail was missing but I contacted company and they sent another one right away . Product seems to be good quality. Friendly and fast service
This is a wonderful stylish roof rack. It's rugged and durable, but it whistles like crazy, and only comes with enough rubber inserts to fill in the top channel. You have to find more material to fill the underside to stop the whistling. It would get 5 stars otherwise. It could just be the aerodynamics of my trucks camper top, but it will serve you well regardless.
Been a year of having and the Product is good ,just make sure to count how many through fasteners that are included. (Or read instructions first and count parts)
The instructions had a measurement as a “drill through” every certain amount of distance note and as it turned out , I had 4 less through fasteners than the measurements alloyed for on my track rails. I happened to find a pack of the fasteners on eBay so it all worked out.
Just learn from my mistake and double check.
Be careful with this system. Our side rail failed on a trip after 2 years of use. The rear right side cracked out while going down the interstate. We lost our kayaks on top. We were under the weight limit and had everything ratchet strapped down to the system. We did contact rhino rack about the warranty, they were less than helpful. They denied our claim based on the fact we did not have the kayak strapped to the front and rear bumpers. etrailer was very helpful getting us all the information we needed to submit a warranty claim.
Normally I never leave a review, but be cautious of the aluminum rails, they did not hold up long term.
THE GENIUS OF A PERFECT SOLUTION
It is not very often that a purchase for something as mundane as a utility device stirs such awe inspired appreciation and praise. I have just completed the installation of the RLCP Rhino Heavy Duty Canopy/Hard Tonneau Track Mount atop my A.R.E. Camper Shell. I am amazed at the attention to detail of each and every part which has been carefully engineered and perfectly manufactured.
I am truly impressed by the genius of a perfect solution to my roof top cargo handling needs! From the mating surfaces of the injection molded towers and the lightweight, but durable extruded anodized aluminum crossbars, to the gentle contour of the rail stock to the camper rooftop, every single part has form, fit and function! The finished product is beautiful, durable, convenient, and for the money invested, economical. I give Five Stars of Praise to the Aussie friends at Rhino-Rack Australia Pty, Ltd.
Equally praiseworthy is the superb performance of e-trailers, Inc. These folks distinguish themselves from the competition through their superior attributes of website presentation, pricing, order fulfillment and package integrity. This is a unique distribution partnership which is imbued with the highest standards of e-commerce.
Job well done, everyone!

Perfection in every sense of the word!
Very nice rack package. Everything was complete, and install was easy 4/10. I had used another review for the hole spacing, as it was easier. Holes at each end 5/8 in then at 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, for a total of 8 on each rail. I bought the heavy duty set, that’s why there’s 8. The standard has only 6/rail. I marked a centerline on the cap, and put the rails at 36” on center. I used painters tape to be sure they were straight. I also measured , and laid out the holes on the cap and drilled a SINGLE HOLE at the 36” mark. Then verified that the end holes would hit the reinforced portion of my ARE cap. Once that was verified, I drilled the rest of the holes. Because of the camber of the cap, a second person is helpful (holding the rail tight to the cap) when tightening up the nuts from inside the cap. After that, the rest was easy. Just center the rail mounts and lock them in. I would definitely recommend this rack set up, Especially since it was half of what my local Yakima dealer quoted me.
This was installed on a 2016 Silverado, 2500.
Tools used- Tape measure, grease pencil, painters tape, 1/4” drill bit and Cordless drill.

great.
Great rack for the money. Install took a few hours but not too difficult. Seems to be a quality system.
I mean I just installed it, but the rack seems really sturdy and like it will do a great job. The hardest part was getting the roof rails lined up correctly. I spent some time on it to get things just right and it seems to have worked out well. I read some reviews where people complained about missing hardware and such, but that was not my experience. Everything was there. Just make sure to check inside the roof rails for the rubber vortex inserts. I initially thought they were missing until I dumped them out.
Rhino rack products are great and you can't blame etrailer for R.R. packaging. My package was missing a track end cap, etrailer made it right. My big question was how much deflection the track could take on a A.R.E. MX topper with slightly curved roof? Did not want to overstress track, bolts or topper. I carefully prebent track and very happy with results. Bolts were long and had to trim.
I loved the modularity and low profile with cross-bars removed. I have had 3 of these installed on my shops' work vehicles for the few times a year we need to carry ladders. Very useful to easily remove and store the cross bars when not needed.
I used this rack to mount on top of my Roll and lock tonneau cover because they don't offer the T-slot option with the RAM box truck bed. It works great.
This is a very well thought out and engineered product. The fit and finish are excellent, it is of high gauge aluminum, and many thoughtful features are added. It is very intuitive to assemble and mount- I "dry-fit" everything first, then looked at instructions and there was no information that could not be determined without them.
The rail kit for fiberglass truck caps arrived promptly and was as described on the website. Reasonably easy to install and easily as good as Thule and Yakima racks for half the money. My only minor quibble is a couple of small scratches on a crossbar. However, since it's sure to get scratches from normal use is not a big deal. It'll be used to mount an awning and extra gear for group camping trips.
Super straight forward install, very strong works great! No leaks! I haule surfboards and kayaks, just what I needed. As always customer service is above and beyond! Sorry wish I had better pictures
Excellent customer service when the instructions were confusing. They look nice on the truck and go on and off very easily. Also, they are safe and secure from theft.
Installed on 2014 F-150 w/ fiberglass topper. Almost downgraded kit a star because of the instructions... incomplete and some important errors... so do the math and don't trust the indicated 5-5/8" spacing for drilling the mounting holes... you'll end up w/ extra holes you'll need to go back and fill... recommend keeping it simple, two are 5/8" in from both ends, and then just mark at 9", 18", 27", 36", 45" and 54" for the other six hole, from either end. There are eight bolts for each side, but only six rubber grommets, had to presume since the two end ones go thru the rubber end cap they didn't need/get a grommet. Did it by myself; definitely recommend a second pair of hands to at least hold the other end the rail during marking, a helper would have made installation a whole lot simpler and faster. But the end results make it all worthwhile.
Having owned an etrailer rack for a year, I can say several things with certainty. 1–the materials are 1st rate—some companies skimp—Etrailer doesn’t. 2-The design of the product makes for a sturdy, reliable rack—worry-free comes to mind. Finally, etrailer employs knowledgeable, courteous people. I will buy from them again.

I found this product to be in excellent condition and satisfied may needs. In the install, be conscious of the holes you drill, bit size and so forth. You want to be sure when installing the product that you get good seal. Excellent product..

The rhino rack has performed well for me. I carry longer lengths of lumber on it that I can’t fit in the bed of my truck. I installed a rib on cab to add additional support for long lengths. Rhino rack has performed well for me. I would recommend it as a durable and proven product.
