The Sport Rider SE2 platform-style hitch bike rack makes it simple to carry 2 bikes on the rear of your vehicle. This versatile rack is easy to use, and it features locking frame hooks and adjustable wheel hoops, so you can quickly load and unload your bikes. Locking, Ratcheting Hooks
The Sport Rider SE2 uses locking frame hooks to secure your bikes. The ratcheting, cushioned hooks easily adjust along the vertical mast and lock securely in place. The release buttons allow each hook to slide up the ratcheting arm for bike removal. The hooks function independently, which means you can position them to carry bikes of different heights.
Adjustable Wheel Hoops
The wheel hoops accommodate bicycles with wheelbases up to 60" by sliding along the horizontal arms. They are secured in place with easy-to-use hand knobs, and the Velcro-like hook-and-loop straps fasten the wheels to the hoops.
If you want to carry a fat bike on the Sport Rider SE2, you can replace the rack's wheel hoops with fat bike hoops (sold separately).
Folding, Tilting Design
The rack tilts, with or without bikes loaded, for easy access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. Simply remove the pivot pin, pull the bottom quick-release spring pin, and lower the rack.
The rack also folds up against the back of your vehicle when it's not in use. To raise the rack, just pull the upper quick-release spring pin and lift.
Tool-Free Installation with Anti-Rattle System
The rack installs in your hitch without the need for tools. Simply slide the shank into your receiver until the welded stop plate contacts the hitch. The stop plate saves you from getting on your hands and knees to align the pin holes while inserting the hitch pin. Once the pin is in place, attach the lock pod. Lastly, use the integrated anti-wobble handle on the front of the shank to tighten the rack inside your hitch receiver and prevent it from rattling.
Complete Security for Bikes and Rack
The Sport Rider comes with locks for both the rack and your bikes to deter theft. The lock cores in the frame hooks hold the bike down on the rack and prevent them from moving. Also, the lock pod attaches to the hitch pin to secure the rack to your vehicle. These locks are conveniently keyed alike. For extra protection, the 8' long security cable wraps through the bike frames, connects to the hitch pin, and is secured to the pin by the hitch lock.
Add-On Adapters
The Sport Rider SE2 is expandable and adaptable. If you want to carry 4 bikes, a two-bike add-on accessory (sold separately) is available.
If you want to carry both 2 bikes and extra gear, an add-on cargo basket (sold separately) is available.
If you want to use the rack to transport a kid's bike with 16" or 18" wheels, wheel hoop adapters (sold separately) are available.
If you want to transport 1 recumbent delta trike or 1 recumbent tadpole-style trike with the Sport Rider SE2, you can use the HRTRK-ADP adapter (sold separately). Or if you want to transport 1 standard bike and either 1 recumbent delta trike, 1 recumbent tadpole-style trike, or 1 adult trike, then you can use the HRTRK-ADP-2 adapter (sold separately).

Anti-rattle system reduces wobble and sway while driving.I love this bike rack! It came quickly and it was super easy to put together. I am a 66 year old female, and if I can do it, anyone can do it! It has everything that was advertised. It has the built in locks, which is awesome, and all the moving parts are easy to use. My bike does not move going down the road and that is a big plus for me! I did rap a bungee cord around my bike frame and the frame hook bar for my piece of mind, but it is not necessary. I highly recommend this bike rack.
Delivery was VERY prompt! Installation instructions were very easy to follow and didn't take long at all. Installed on a 2016 Chevy Traverse LT with a Reese Hitch 51083 (same as Draw-Tite sold here), the bike rack works as described and expected. With my particular bike, there is a MINOR clearance issue with my back hatch while the bike is being carried on the inside carrier but not too much to cause a concern for me.

Now, to the rack. It arrived on the day specified on the order’s confirmation and was
very well packed… double-boxed even. Opening the boxes revealed the sturdy, wellfinished rack parts arranged neatly and isolated from one another with separate boxes
and foam material. I immediately began the assembly, my review of which follows.
The instructions are clear but I immediately formulated a difference of opinion on step
one which instructs that the hitch tube should be inserted into the trailer hitch. The
instructions then lead you to build the rack while mounted on the vehicle. This may be
acceptable if you’re a teenager willing to squat on the ground or sit on a low stool for 30
to 40 minutes but, given my age, this was definitely not my cup of tea. So, after making
sure that the hitch tube fit the trailer hitch properly, I proceeded to complete the
assembly on a workbench. One item that I had to change is the position of the
ratcheting frame hooks. To accommodate the crossbar on each bike, I placed the short
hook facing the car and the long hook facing the rear.
All the required tools are provided, the rack is super easy to assemble and requires only
a bit of time. The fit on my 2018 Hyudai Santa Fe is perfect.
So why did I chose this particular rack? As you can see from the picture above, the
bicycles each have a basket on the front handlebar. All the hitch racks that I saw had
fixed wheel trays, the trays were too close together, or the rack did not come across as
being very sturdy. The wheel holders on this rack are adjustable so that I can stagger
the bikes’ positions (one further left and one further right) to avoid the baskets coming
into contact with the other. The spacing between the two bikes is also generous. Also
important for me were all the locks and the ability to tighten the hitch tube inside the
trailer hitch by turning a crank and not have to deal with nuts and bolts to remove a hitch
clamp each time I want to install or remove the rack from the car. The folded rack fits nicely on the back of my 2018 Santa Fe The trunk opens with room to spare when the rack is tilted. Note the crossbars on the bike, short hook facing car, long hook facing away. The front and rear wheel holders are staggered to make room for the baskets.
This bike rack was not cheap in my opinion. That said etrailer had the best price. Aside from that the Nick rack is perfect. The tutorial video that was posted on etrailer was invaluable. They showed everything from begging to en of installation. This saved me soooo much time. Etrailer was great and so is this rack. No shaking, no vibration. Perfect bike rack, I’m very satisfied
This bike rack is second to none especially in this price range. I MHO I think this item is superior to many other brands out there and I’m referring to the well known brands as well. I was impressed with the way it was packaged from the factory and by etrailer. The instructions were clear and it assembled easily. I took my time and probably completed it in under an hour. I didn’t think to take pics with the bikes on the rack but I wanted people with Jeep Wranglers to see how this looks. Notice that I also have a Yakima Back Swing on the Jeep as well. I’ve purchased things from etrailer in the past and can speak of the quality of the products they sell and of course the customer service.

I would recommend that you purchase one if you are in need of a 2-bike rack assembly. I also purchased the 3-wheeled trike rack and assembled it. Awesome bike rack. My only concern is using it on the rear of the RV. Turning the at rated 55° I am concerned about hitting the F150. Not sure if Etrailer test the configurations to assure the customer an extension is not needed.

I use this on a 2016 CRV. It folds back enough to open the tailgate. It is well made and sturdy. It should last a long time. It holds my 29er Mtn bike very securely. This rack comes with a hitch pin lock and a cable lock for the bike. Both locks heavy duty.

Was very easy to adjust the rack for a different temporary trike.
Gene M - 03/07/2018Product was just as the etrailer rep presented when he recommended it. Arrived quickly, easy to assemble and load. We drove 1700 miles through 4 states (Ohio, W. Virginia, Virginia & N. Carolina) so we saw our fill of construction and rough roads. This includes interstate & local back roads in each state. The bikes are 2 cruisers old style. They never shifted or loosened. I did have to add foam on the ladies bike as the chain guard protruded enough to contact the brace. This is a bike design issue. The only scrape was the handle to tighten the hitch pin, try not to leave it hanging down. The large handle bars did limit access to the rear window, but the tilt function solved that. Pins got tight in the heat & ocean salt, light oil solved that. Very good product, service and guidance. I'll use this vendor again for other such need.
First I want to thank the folks at etrailer for getting my changed order implemented quickly. I changed from the HR1455Z-E (80 lbs per bike) to the HR1450Z (50 lbs per bike). It also arrived early which helped.
The Hollywood rack is really heavy-duty and went together easily with the very good included instructions. It carries my Ebike and analog bike together very easily.
My big complaint is the length of the rack from my 2019 RAV4 causes it to scrape heavily on my driveway and other driveways, even without the bikes loaded. I’m still pondering what to do about it. I’m using it with the Curt hitch I also bought from etrailer.
Love the hitch and bike rack. Adjustable everything and extremely stable. No vibration and very little movement of bikes. Easy to install and remove. Rack is heavy for an average person to lift when removing but that's because its made of good quality steel. No rust, dinks, or scratches in over a year and I use it almost everyday (winter, spring, summer, and fall - weather permitting)! Yesterday I transported two bikes 140 miles (highways and byways) to a 16 miles trail - no problem. Excellent customer service - knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Five stars all around.
Great Product from etrailer.com I am quite pleased with the quality of the product. It is was easy to assemble and install. We use it to carry 2 upper scale bikes and did not want to carry them in the bed of my pickup because we did not want to damage the bikes or truck bed. I have no problem loading the bikes by myself. Another plus is the locking hitch and also locking cable for bikes. So easy, safe, and secure makes this product is a great choice.
The bike rack fits our 2019 Hyundai Santafe with an etrailer hitch with no problems. Quick shipping and the heavy rack was well packaged. Good instructions and everything you need to put the rack together was included, including some very basic tools. Rack mounts nicely into the hitch and is very stable. Bikes go on and secure easily. Good clearance between the rack and the back of the car when folded up.

The Hollywood Sport Rider SE2 is exactly as described. The videos make it very easy to install. The only thing that is a struggle is releasing the hooks if they are pushed down snuggly, which is how they seem to be most effective. It is clearly indicated on the directions that they will be difficult to release if they are locked snuggly. Otherwise, thrilled with them.
Got this rack for transporting my e-bike. It holds it very securely. Have to remove the clamp adjusters so I can manhandle the beast onto the rack. Holds both my bikes perfectly. Have dealt with etrailer in the past and have always been pleased. Great service!

A nice overall bike rack that was not too difficult to assemble. The best feature of the Sport Rider SE2 for 2" hitch is the tool less install and removal. The hitch tightening crank is nice as well. Not as sturdy as the e-bike version, but not as heavy either.
The product arrived on time with nary a scratch. Packed well and assembled without an issue.
I've been a long time eTrailer customer for a variety of items and will keep doing so.
