This platform rack is perfect for carrying heavy electric bikes. It includes a telescoping loading ramp that lets you easily roll your bikes onto the rack. Tilts nearly 90 degrees with bikes loaded for superior cargo area access.
Features:
Specs:
Note:
Telescoping Ramp
The Destination E includes a telescoping, aluminum ramp so you can easily roll your e-bikes on and off the rack - no heavy lifting required. The ramp telescopes to ensure it touches the ground so you don't have to lift your bike at all. It can also be used to decrease the angle of approach to make loading even easier.
Arms with Padded, Rotating Clamps
Arms with padded, rotating clamps grab your bikes by the top tubes or downtubes to ensure safe transport with minimal movement and noise. They move up and down the center mast independently, so you can position them to fit bikes of any frame style.
Curved Trays for Easy Loading
Curved wheel trays allow you to easily roll your bikes onto the rack. The trays also have wide cradles that accommodate most bike tire sizes.
Ratcheting straps secure your bike's wheels to the trays. The straps are padded and the outermost straps tilt upward toward your tires to ensure a perfect fit.
90-Degree Tilt
You can tilt the rack down 90-degrees with bikes loaded, giving you more room for cargo area access than a standard tilting bike rack. From behind the rack, spin the rear-mounted handle counterclockwise to loosen it, push it forward, and tilt the rack down away from you. When you're ready to raise the rack, simply pull it back up, pull the handle up, and tighten it down to secure the rack in place.
It also folds up when not in use. This leaves a smaller footprint, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage. And if you want to remove it, it doesn't take up as much space to store it.
Tool-Free Installation
To install the rack, simply slide the shank into your receiver and insert the hitch pin. Once installed, turn the lever on the front of the rack to deploy a loop in the shank that serves as an anti-wobble device to eliminate rattle in the hitch receiver during transport.
Complete Security
Locks on each frame clamp knob secure your bikes to the rack. The knobs spin freely when locked so a would-be thief can't operate them to remove your bikes from the clamps.
A locking hitch pin secures the rack to your vehicle. The locks are keyed alike so you only need to use 1 key.

The E-Bike Rack was just as advertised heavy duty enough to support two e-bikes and easy assemble. Delivery met all expectations on-time, packaged well, and in good condition. This is the third time I've used etrailer.com and they never disappoint.
First of all, the Hollywood rack was absolutely amazing! It took me a couple hours to put it together, which I am not complaining about! The build of this rack is heavy duty, well engineered, and easy enough for a non-mechanical guy to use! It is extremely sturdy while traveling, and it is easy for the 70 year-old body to load and unload heavy E bikes.
It was so amazing, that a good friend who saw mine went out and just bought one from etrailer.com.
Now, let’s get to etrailer.com. This is my second bike rack purchase from etrailer.com and the experience is nothing short of stupendous. Their communication along the way was absolutely perfect! Their follow up was amazing compared to all of the companies I purchase from, no question!!!
This site IMO focuses on customer service before anything else.
If you need to purchase trailer components online, etrailer.com should be your number one choice!
Was quite easy to assemble and install. Very sturdy.
I am using it to carry two 60lb. e-bikes and it does the trick. The loading ramp is a huge benefit.
We drove from Delaware along back roads and highways to NJ. No issues.
Next trip will be NJ to VT, another good test.
I only wish it has some small wheels somewhere because the rack itself it quite heavy to move out of the garage and onto the car.
Given the torque on the hitch receiver with a total of nearly 200lbs+, I think people need to be careful that they have a good hitch rated to carry that much weight.

Great e-bike rack! Handles our 2 Pedego e-bikes well. The best part is the easy loading with the very good ramps. No lifting!
Installed this rack this morning. The instructions are concise and easy to follow. The ramp works perfectly, and the bicycles were easy to load and latch down. We loaded one ebike and one hybrid bicycle. We live on a gravel road with potholes and the rack rode well with little movement, and no noticeable movement on paved roads. Removing and reloading the bicycles was easy. Tipping the rack up towards the car for storage and away from the car for access to the hatchback was also easy. Well built. Very happy with this purchase.
Fit's quite well on 2005 Honda CR-V. It JUST BARELY folds up against the back tire when not in use. About the lightest true eBike rack I could find, yet still weighs close to 50 lbs. VERY worth the weight, so I got a "Hitch Rack Pro" to help mount/dismount/store this Hollywood Destination E. This is my THIRD great rack from Hollywood. A worthy addition to the collection!!!
This rack works great as did the Hollywood Destination 2 (from etrailor) I was using before I had an ebike. The hitch design and bike clamps make for a sturdy ride and the 90 degree tilt allows full access to our SUV- this rack has it all. This was my third purchase from etrailor and all have arrived quickly and worked well.I always recommend them to anyone looking for racks, hitches, etc.
Well built and definitely heavy duty. I off one star because it's cumbersome to store.

Good solid e bike rack. Its a bit on the heavy side. It would nice if it had a roller system of some kind. The ramp makes load the bike easy. Overall Im satisfied with this purchase.
Well built and great rack for an e-bike
Set up is more time consuming than the Yakama rack this one replaced. Ok for my road bike and mt bike but designed more for e-bikes.
Does what it is designed for.
I use this rack for two electric bikes and it is excellent. It rides very solid and does exactly what it is intended to do. I see so many flimsy racks on the road and am extremely glad I took the time to investigate and buy the Hollywood Rack over other alternatives. I would recommend this rack to anyone that values their bike and tow vehicle.
This rack has many features that sets it apart from the pack; however, I feel the best feature is how the tongue of the rack securely locks into the hitch receiver eliminating any movement between the rack & the tow vehicle... it is solid as a rock!

Flawlessly... works better than expected. This Hollywood Hitch Bike Rack couldnt be better... Excellent Product..!!

This rack is great. Our bikes easily go up the ramp and fasten securely onto the rack. This rack is heavier than other racks we’ve had however this is our first e-bike specific rack. Well worth the price and ETrailer made shop in and purchase very easy.
I am super impressed with the Hollywood racks e-bike rack and the excellent and speedy delivery by etrailer.com. etrailer.com has excellent videos showcasing the racks that they sell. I was really impressed with the video review of the Hollywood racks destination E bike rack and purchased it. The order was processed and shipped in no time at all. etrailer.com also emailed links for videos with installation instructions. The rack is basically ready to go out of the box and just needs minimal time to setup. We have just returned from our first trip, this rack is as advertised very sturdy, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Hollywood Racks and etrailer.com.
Feedback on recent installation of Hollywood Destination E-Rack, 2 bike capacity. Some minor glitches I wanted to let you know about: 1 Parts list on page 2 shows 2 washers included however on page 5, 1 in says to install the washers and nuts on the outside bike position while the illustration does not show any washers being installed Page 5 2 the illustration shows washers but the instructions do not mention washers. So should there be FOUR washers in the part list or just TWO? 2 Step 2 on page 5 directs one to tilt rack and then in step 3 it directs to tilt rack back and tighten knob securely BUT in step 4 on pg 6 it directs one to install caps on nuts. Well, you cannot install caps on the front nuts because you have to tilt the rack to get to the nuts. So Step 4 should be BEFORE Step 3. 3 On page 8, installing the inside bike they should warn that the pedal closest to the car should be in the 12 oclock position else you will not be able to tilt the rack as shown on page 15 since you will not be able to get to the lever to release the rack and finally, 4 page 18 folding rack back against the vehicle there should be a warning or directions that ion of the pin in the correct hole has a very tight tolerance and does not just slide in - I centered holes, but still had to use a rubber mallet to get the pin in!! Thats it. Love the rack. Be well and happy. Jan
I own 5 bike racks (all the major brands) and this one is the best especially if you have a bigger E-bike with fenders. Unlike most racks it has 3 total wheel tie downs per bike plus an adaptable frame and/or seat post clamp that locks. It also has a built-in hitch stabilizer that works well. Its heavy but appears to be well constructed. Most of my friends have Thule or Kuat and I like mine better and paid $300 less. One negative is it takes a while to secure the bikes with all the connections. It does not have an internal cable lock but most are fairly thin and flimsy, so I'd rather use a secondary heavier cable lock to the metal bike frame for additional security.
As always, fast order processing an delivery from etrailer. The rack is exactly what I expected. Our Heybike Rangers are 60lbs each without the battery and this rack handles bikes up to 70lbs each. Super simple to assemble, quality parts with perfect alignment and the fit and finish are first rate. My wife can load her own bike with the included ramp. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've since drilled additional 1/4" holes 2" forward of the originals so that I can get the second straps to fit over the front tires. The original placements didn't work with our bikes (see photo).

Were still loving this rack after a year of ownership and many, many, miles driven with this rack on the back! Multiple trips from PA to SC and never an issue. Were recently upgraded our E-Bikes to full-size adventure bikes Aventon and Mokwheel and the rack continues to work flawlessly.
I've had this rack for a year. I connect it to the front hitch receiver (also from eTrailer) on my 2022 GMC Sierra HD DRW Denali. We chose this hitch because there are no RV/trailer rated bike racks with weight capacities for eBikes. As full time RVers we needed something for our new (now 1 year old) electric bikes (2x AIMA Santa Fe). It is sturdy, and has held up perfectly through several thousand miles of travel so far. I would buy again and recommend to anyone for general purpose as well as long range travel.
Love it and it was almost 4 stars because it could use a little more space between the bikes, I have a Letric XP and my wife has a Pedego. My front baskets and her rear rack barely rub, but they rub. Still a 5-star because how nice it is that I no longer wrestle the Fixit crossbar as we both have step-throughs. Took a few things off my XP to get the weight (front rack, but kept the rear) down to 67 pounds with no battery, Wifes Pedego is 57 pounds with battery. Yes, I actually physically weighed my bikes. I am a senior and lifting our bikes into hoops was getting old, the ramp is excellent. etrailer did a great job and I recommend them. Put it on Honda CRV today and did a test ride and it traveled well.

Now using mostly on our Sprinter camper van, took it coast to coast and had no issues at all.
Nice bike rake. The extender supports could be better for ebikes that need to grab larger supports specifically for walk through bikes.

I love your Schwinn bikes William! Your setup looks great. Where do you guys like to hit the trails?

We love this bike rack!! It takes both of us to mount it on the car or truck, but once on, the bikes load very easily, and they are solid as a rock. I highly recommend this rack.
Love it! Easy to put in take off. Feel like bikes are very secure to traverse rough roads. Love the locking system. Absolutely recommend!!!
Fantastic rack! As a 63 year old woman i was able to easily put it together and use for our 67 lb ebikes. Super well made and it secures our step through bikes very well! Very pleased!
Very easy to load my bike via amp. My only complaint is that the bike rack is very heavy - not sure if I will be able to install it as I get older (I am 75)
Great Bike Rack. In Feb 2021, I purchased a Swagman Current Bike Rack from etrailer for my two regular bikes and anticipation of buying an e-bike. In May 2021, I purchased two Scott Sub-Active E-bikes. My Swagman bike rack worked well but I always needed help to lift my 63 lbs Scott e-bikes onto the rack. In Jan 2022, I had torn a shoulder muscle while lifting my e-bike onto the rack. From that point on, I decided I needed to get an e-bike rack that came with a ramp. Thule, Yakima and Kuat made racks with ramps but none of those three had other features that met my needs. Around May 2022, Hollywood Racks released their “Destination E” bike rack. After much studying, I decided that the Destination E was the rack for me and ordered one from etrailer in July 2022. I received my rack within a week from etrailer.
Assembly was rather easy after viewing video clips from etrailer website and Hollywood Racks videos online. The Destination E bike rack is well constructed and sturdy. My two conventional bikes were easy to load and mount on the Destination E without any problems. See attached photos. On my two Scott E-bikes which have the “step-thru” frames, the first one loaded easy but on my second one, I needed to use a “frame adapter bar” to mount my bike. See attached photos. To make sure that my bikes were securely mounted on, I used two bungee cords to keep my two bikes secured together.
The best part of my Destination E bike rack was the ramp. It could adjust to any length and is very sturdy. Some reviews I seen from etrailer staff cited that there was no way to store the ramp on the outside of the rack and that was a possible reason for customers not to buy the Destination E. Without anywhere to store the ramp on the outside is fine with me. First, the ramp does not weigh much and shrinks into a small compact size. It can be stored anywhere safely inside the vehicle. If stored outside, it might be easily stolen or lost during transportation.
In summary, there are not too many e-bike racks on the market that will accommodate a 63 lbs e-bike that have fenders and come with an adjustable ramp like the Hollywood Destination E Bike Rack. I highly recommend to anyone in buying this bike rack.
Also, I am very happy with my decision to purchase again from etrailer. Your folks are a great company. Your staff’s video reviews are very informative and helpful. Your prices are competitive. Delivery was fast and my prior experience with the etrailer’s Customer Service staff has been great. Keep up the awesome work!!!
Great product, bike rack works perfectly with my 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz.
p.s. Awesome support from etrailer!
The only thing I can add is a request for better instructions on installing the additional straps for the front wheels. However, I did figure it out. Thanks for the quick shipping and the excellent service.

Im really enjoying the quality of this bike rack. As stated by your company its a very sturdy rack and the quality is hard to beat. I looked at several bike racks and the Hollywood Destination E Bike rack was the best of whats out there.

So it’s been a year and we’ve put many miles on our bikes and been able to transport them safely and securely. Running up and down the 95 corridor from Maryland to North Carolina and back at 65 plus we’ve had no issues. I’m finally building a set of hooks to store the bike rack to keep it out of the elements.
