Hitch arrived in a timely fashion packaged in a double wall box with handles that made carrying very easy. There were a few rips in the box but the hitch looked fine. Had a local repair shop install it which took 30 minutes. The matte finish you recommended matches the rear bumber and looks great! Saris bike rack bolted up smoothly and hitch provides clearance for power tailgate and bikes. Extremely pleased!!
So far, our etrailer is working out great! It was relatively easy to install and it fit our bike rack perfectly.

Our hitch is still working great! We’ve used it with our bike trailer and taken it on long highway trips and have had no issues. It’s easy to install. It securely holds our bike trailer carrying a heavy e-bike and a regular mountain bike. I’d highly recommend this product!
The 2" trailer hitch (Item #e98844) for my 2019 Toyota Highlander came just as advertised on the etrailer site. Also, the installation video on the site was spot on and very helpful.
Nice product. Looks good on vehicle. Straight forward install. Poor packaging however! The hitch was just thrown into a cardboard box without any bubble wrap, styrofoam, etc. when I received the hitch, the box had been busted open for obvious reasons.

Works just as a hitch should. No complaints.
I bought this trailer last year to add extra storage for a trip, and it has exceeded all expectations. The installation was much easier than anticipated, with clear instructions and everything fitting perfectly. Using it for a large hitch carrier was no challenge at all. The construction is rock solid, and it feels like it’s built to last. It has made traveling much more convenient, giving us ample space for all our gear. We’re extremely happy with the purchase—our only regret is that we didn’t invest in it sooner!

So, it has been since we have had it installed and we used it several times. No regrets without a dubt. I am now looking it have it installed on my second vehicle.
This receiver was a perfect fit for my 2019 Toyota Highlander. The mounting holes aligned perfectly with the chassis and installation was a quick one man job. The installation paperwork and video on the website gave detailed step by step instructions for cutting the undercarriage trim pieces to accommodate the hitch. Looks good in the matte finish too.
Trailer doesn’t disappoint! The speed of delivery and detailed instructions on installation are the best in the industry. I studied the instruction gathered my tools and had my new trailer hitch installed in 90 minutes. One of the best product companies around.
Took two hours for two of us to install. Very straightforward. There is some trimming needed on the driver’s side plastic covering that wasn’t mentioned in the instructions, but it wasn’t a big deal. You’ll need a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to spec.
Use this to install in my 2016 Toyota Highlander to tow my Travel Trailer; works like a dream!
Box was beat to sh*t, but product was ok. Shipping was super fast for something this big and heavy (Excellent job etrailer. Already installed locally!!!

The installation took my son and I less than an hour to fully mount and secure the receiver. The fit and alignment was spot on along with the installation of new tension strength bolts that were exactly the right thread type and bolt pattern for the vehicle.
The trailer hitch arrived a day earlier than expected.The box was damaged but the hitch did not have a scratch.The instructions were very clear and to the point. The rear tow hitch on the right rear was replaced on the left rear side due to the welded tab on the trailer hitch.The cutting of the undercarriage plastic was simple. Highly recommended the product. Not a single issue, works great.
This hitch is bombproof. After one year it is still super solid. It is low profile and looks great. I’ve pulled several things with it but mostly use it for my bike rack and cargo tray. It was a lot of work to install but the instructions were detailed and accurate for my vehicle. I would definitely buy it again.

Ive had my hitch for an year and I have not had any problems. It is very well made the color hasnt faded and theirs no rust. I will be purchasing another one for my next vehicle.
The hitch is great! Was easy to install.
I'm rating the Trailer Hitch receiver as a 5 because the instructions were excellent, it installed smoothly, and it looks and works great. My one concern is the shipping container (see attached picture) was badly damaged (and even partially open) when I received it. The product wasn't damaged but since the T-One wiring harness was inside the same box as the receiver, it could have fallen out. All turned out well but just thought you should know.
The trailer hitch was easy to install on my 2017 Highlander with accurate instructions. It required a slight modification to the plastic undercarriage cover which was easily completed. I’ve used it a few times and it has worked well.

I got the trailer receiver in just a few days. I then took it to my mechanic and he had it installed within an hour. Together the hitch, and installation cost less than half of what U haul was going to charge just for installation. I am pleased completely with the hitch. It went above what was expected. My mechanic said it was built to fit tight, but was easy to install.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. I had it installed at U-haul and have been towing a Kuat 3 bike rack assembly. Was initially wary that the receiver would throw off the weight balance on my car, especially when driving through snowy conditions and on snow (I live in the Pacific North West and drive through a mountain pass to get to my local ski resort every weekend), but that hasn't been an issue so far.
Let's say a pandemic sweeps the world and you find yourself thinking, "You know...I'm going to drive to my remote vacation destination that happens to be about 3 U.S. states away, instead of fly!" Then, your wife wants to take the 2015 Highlander instead of the pick-up truck and you think, "How are we going to fit all our stuff in that, plus the entire family, and the animals?".
This solution worked out very well. The weekend before vacation, I followed the great video instructions and installed this fairly easily, with a little help from a skateboard "wingman" as you'll see in the picture. (If it helps your decision, I'm a computer nerd by trade, not an auto mechanic, although I'm not afraid to try mechanical stuff.) The bolts and holes lined up perfectly.
I highly recommend this hitch receiver. (I'm going to add a review for the rack you see in the picture also.)
Fit like a glove on my 2019 Highlander SE. Installed by myself. Just dropped the spare tire, took the hitch out the box and placed the box under my car. Then placed the hitch on top of the box and placed some cornhole bags under the drivers side to raise it up. I then lifted the passenger side up first and got one bolt in, then moved to drivers side and lifted it up to get one bolt in. from there I was able ot get all the bolts in the get them to 86lbs with a torque wrench. You do not need to make any cuts to the passenger side plastic cover as it will go back on with the hitch installed. I did not cut the drivers side pastic piece as much as they did in the installation video. It looked to be a bit much in the video. I was able to make a cut to fit the hitch and still use all the bolts to attach the plastic cover. I uploaded pics of the install. I really like the flat black look as it matches my bumper perfect. I cold have went with them OEM Toyota Hitch but honestly I do not like the hitch poking out the bumper an additional 4 inches as the OEM one does. I think this one looks clean and is a fair price. Toyota wanted 650.00 to install a Curt hitch with a 7 pin harness. I can do that for less than half the price. They also wanted 1200.00 to install factory hitch with 7 pin harness. The hitch was delivered in 2 days. I installed it in an hour. I like that it's a tubular bar instead of the usual block of metal. Also liked the fact that it's bolt on using existing fittings instead of drilling new holes or welding. You have the choice of removing or modifying the plastic cover on the driver side so it fits. Only had to cut out about a 1 inch wide strip from the plastic to modify it so still able to use the cover as intended.
The other nice fitment is that it only protrudes past the bumper by about an inch tops. So walking into it not really an issue.
Have no intention of towing anything but wanted a nice hitch for a lateral bike rack instead of hanging them on the vehicle door. This hitch will work nicely while looking good. I highly recommend the custom hitch.
Fit just perfect on my 2015 Toyota Highlander. It looks good. Easy to install.
