trailer hitch and wiring for a 2017 toy highlander xle with full size spare. I think part e98844 and part 118449 work. Can you confirm? I want a electrical set up that plugs in the existing electrical system. thanks will

Hey Will, the etrailer hitch part # e98844 would be a great option for your 2017 Toyota Highlander for a 2 inch hitch with plenty of capacity. Then for trailer wiring the Tekonsha part # 118449 is the way to go as well as we have found they install the easiest and have most reliable converter box. This is a plug and play install like you are looking for as well.

I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander and it did plug into the existing electrical system. There were a few plastic clips that had to be removed and reinstalled, but overall I had it all completed in less than 30 minutes.
