This harness skips the hassle of splicing wires or tracing factory circuits. It plugs directly into existing ports behind the trim so you can get a working 4-flat trailer connector without cutting anything. The design is truly plug-and-play—install it, add the included fuses, and you’re ready to hook up trailer lights.
Instead of drawing power from the lighting circuits, the harness uses its own powered converter. That means it won’t overload the vehicle wiring or trigger shorts. The converter also combines brake and turn signals into a single wire for standard trailer lights and reduces power draw to keep electrical systems safe.
The 4-flat plug provides running lights, turn signals, and brake lights in one simple connector. It’s compatible with standard trailers, including wishbone styles that use separate running light wires for each side. The included 10-amp fuse protects against overloads so your lights stay reliable trip after trip.
The converter box uses a newer surface-mounted circuit board design that stands up to vibration and heat better than older through-hole types. Solid connectors and a dedicated ground lead help ensure full voltage for bright, consistent trailer lighting every time you tow.

Thanks for the follow up!It?s awesome. Works like a charm!A friend gave me some advice that sadly I didn?t listen to though. He told me, ALWAYS remove the ball hitch when not in use. That way when you walk around the back with groceries you didn?t hit the hitch with your shin! lol Sadly last week, after a year, i had my first encounter with the hitch while carrying groceries! lol Hopefully it?s my last.

Nice job on the install! I would make one recommendation.. Id use some silicone to seal the hole in the grommet where the wire passes through to prevent moisture or exhaust gasses from entering the passenger cabin.
